Nestled in Victoria, this lovely condo for $75 per night is a great option for your next trip. Mermaid Gold is an elegantly appointed, skylight lit condo on the waterfront in Victoria, with a beautiful Tuscan inspired decor. It is fully equipped and has fabulous upper harbor and mountain views. Mermaid Gold has a PRIVATE ROOFTOP TERRACE, for exclusive use by the occupants. Sit at the teak dining table or at the bar by the railing and watch the boats go by. It is the perfect place for morning coffee or sunset drinks. Lounging by the fireplace in the living room you have the same wonderful views. You can also see the harbor come alive from your pillow-top bed while having breakfast or watch lights glitter on the water as you doze off at days end. Your kitchen is fully appointed with all the appliances you require for meal preparation. The partially separated bedroom has spa robes, an iron and ironing board, silk covered designer lamps, plenty of closet space and more. Wireless internet and WIFI is available at no extra charge. Mermaid Wharf is an easy walk to everything; world class restaurants, shoreline trails, the famous Galloping Goose bicycle path, and fantastic shopping in downtown Victoria. Business Licence 00039915

We stayed for 2 months and it was great (close to breweries, restaurants, great happy hour spots, right beside the hot tub boat gorge adventure etc etc). If you want to be downtown, this is the place for you. Our check in was great and Colette gave us a full tour of the building and how everything worked. All in all, it was great. Other comments said it was loud since it is close to a few pubs (Craft is right across the street), but we stayed November and December and it was fine. We did make friends with the Craft GM (Lawrence) and we were treated like kings (we also went quite a bit for afternoon pints).
The one thing I would recommend is to change the two lamps in the living room - they are clumsy and difficult to adjust. Other than that, it was the best furnished kitchen I have ever seen in a VRBO (and we stay in a lot of them).
Also, the view from the patio door of the unit looks directly onto the harbour, and we were entertained looking at the different boats and kayakers and seals and birds each and every day, so a very cool place indeed.
If you want the downtown Victoria experience, this is the place to go.

If you like to have innumerable great restaurants and interests within walking distance, or perfect unobstructed inner harbor views, and particularly if you love sunsets, then this is a place you want to try. If you're grumpy about a little social noise on Friday and Saturday nights, then maybe you want to leave this one for someone else who will appreciate it. We'll be back.

It's a nice and comfortable studio in a great location in Victoria. I enjoyed my stay and I recommend it for a single person or a couple.

Loved this unit, fun to watch working side of the harbour and training sessions for rowers and paddlers. Manager Colette is very quick to respond during your stay. The Only reason for 4 stars regarding location is the evening noise from club across the street. The building owners and occupants are working hard to remedy this issue and I'm sure they'll get it done. Just a note in case this is important - although it is a city after all...

4.5 stars. Minor items, needs new garbage disposal, bathroom sink very slow draining, grout needs cleaning in shower. Fabulous location with easy access to downtown Victoria shops, exhibitions and dining. Great unit for couple. Older people need to be flexible to manage Captain bed which was very comfortable.

A great place to stay. Perfectly located and perfectly equipped. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay for a few days or weeks like in my case.

We spent 5 weeks in this cozy condo. Check in and out was smooth and Colette was lovely and helpful. I will miss all the amenities at our doorstep and the rooftop views!

Mermaid Gold is golden!
We arrived for the Canadian Thanksgiving and met by the owner. She was very professional and friendly. Gave us keys and parking spot. ReViewed the lovely apartment with us. It has everything a couple could need! Full service in every way 5 stars and very comfortable!

Victoria Getaway
This Mermaid Wharf condo was an exceptional VRBO experience. It was everything the description said and more. We loved the location, and the rooftop patio was a gem for morning coffees and evening wine! It was a bonus to have a secure parking spot and the check in - check out experience was easy. The restaurants nearby were excellent and the proximity to the inner was perfect. Loved the views. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Colette!

This lovely top floor seafront condo is very well-stocked with all the comforts of home. The rooftop terrace was a nice feature. Bed was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Underground secure parking was included. Hostess was delightful and helpful.

We had stayed in this building before so we were familiar with the area and the garage,etc. The toaster oven could be replaced but very good kitchen supplies otherwise. The bed is a bit awkward but we knew that from the listing.

Perfect spot for a getaway!
Ideal location perfect for a walk in any direction. Right at the Galloping Goose RailTrail so we enjoyed bike rides even in February. Parking included was a big plus! Condo is cozy but very functional for a couple. Extremely well stocked with condiments and most necessities to get us started. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for the two of us. Well stocked for coffee and basics, plenty of towels, shampoo (forgot mine(. Thought we'd cook some, but never did. Too many good restaurant options! One was Bard and Banker. Spent 4 nights. Would definitely come back!

Perfect condo for 2 with a great location and view.
Within walking distance to everything downtown Victoria. Water taxi pickup at the end of the block to take you around the harbor. Two good restaurants right next door. The condo is clean and well stocked. The rooftop garden overlooking the water is a lovely spot to watch the sunset! Check in and check out very easy. Colette is a great host who has thought of everything you may need during your stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Walking proximity to everything, water view, rooftop garden, nicely appointed, great bed to wake up in, covered drive-into parking, loved the skylight, so much natural light. Agents were great to work with.

Super clean, nicely appointed...lacking nothing. Great location. Close to restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and more. Near Chinatown and lots of cool old architecture. Water taxi at end of street will take you anywhere. 20 minute pleasant walk to inner harbor. Colette is thorough, pleasant, and available. Really an excellent place to stay.

Wonderful Location!
It would be hard to find a better location for the Victoria visitor. You wake up to views of the harbour and the mountains, and the unit even has a skylight and a private roof-top patio. Secure parking (included) was a definite bonus for us, but there is a wide variety of restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance
Colette is friendly and helpful, and has provided everything required for a short (or even a longer) stay.
We’ll be checking to see if this unit is available when we’re planning our next visit to Victoria!
