About this condo rental
Located in South Haven, this lovely condo for $253 per night is a great option for your next trip. Park your car and walk to downtown South Haven and the beach! This 2 bedroom 1.5 bath condo has views of the black river from the deck and is walking distance to the town of South Haven and a short walking distance to several public beaches. The indoor heated pool/hot tub is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Rent a kayak, a bike, go fishing or take in a movie on a rainy day at the theater a few blocks away or stay in and make dinner in the fully renovated kitchen. South Haven has many quaint shops and restaurants that offer fabulous dinners and music on the weekends if you prefer to have a night out. This beautiful condo has been fully renovated including granite counter tops. The master has a queen bed with a TV and a DVD player. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and has a TV. Both bedrooms are on the first floor when you enter the condo and the full bath is between them. The full bath has a combination shower/tub. The upstairs in outfitted with the fully renovated kitchen, flat screen TV and a pull out couch to bring the capacity of this condo to 6. If you need to do laundry there is a stackable washer and dryer combo in the condo. There are parking spaces for 2 vehicles. This condo truly has it all with the pool, hot tub, beach, and town all in one! By renting this cottage you are agreeing to the following rules: (All rules are strictly enforced) 1.) All of our rentals are non-smoking. 2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. Any boats (if available) used on the property require life jackets be worn and are used at your own risk. 3.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. Arrangements for trailers need to be made. There is parking for two cars in front of cottage. 4.) Do not move the furniture. 5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property. 6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $150 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately. 7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility. 8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items. 9.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use. 10.) Quiet time is after 11pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. 11.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed. 12.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than double the maximum occupancy of the cottage. These guests can not use the amentities of Goshorn Lake Resort. 13.) Pool/beach towels are NOT provided. You will need to bring them. Do not use bath towels at the pool or beach or extra charges will be added to your stay. 14.) Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. Please follow all posted rules at pool. 15.) Follow good neighbor rules for South Haven city listed in the cottage. You will receive a text message from us with checkin instructions and the code for the door.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Orchid this last week! The condo was so nicely updated and close to both town and the beach. The indoor pool and hot tub was also great! There was hardly anyone in there at all. It felt like it was our own private pool!

We loved this property! It was very easy to check-in, and everything was spotless. The pool area was a hit with my kids, and every time we went, we were the only ones there. We also appreciated the beach chairs, toys, and umbrellas that were there for guest to use for a day at the beach. We also enjoyed the grill the first night we were there. They have the basics that you need to get started, but one thing we forgot to pack was laundry detergent, so maybe bring a trial size of that if you plan on using the washer and dryer! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

This condo was perfect for our vacation in South Haven! Nice quiet location, easy to walk downtown, or to the lake. We also loved watching the boats go by on the Black River from the living room area. Looking forward to our next trip!

We enjoyed our quick trip to South Haven. The condo had plenty of space to spread out and was an easy walk to town. Lovely to have beach chairs, and umbrella and a big bag of sand toys for the kids to borrow.

While the beds & bathroom fixtures were clean, there were visible layers of dust on the dressers and tv stands. The tv in the living room had little handprints all over it, and the walls of the bathroom had streaks from where the condensation from past showers ran down. It needs a good deep clean.

Very clean property. Easy to check in and out with clear instructions. Location was great and close to downtown. We had enough space in the bedroom to comfortably fit a pack n play for our toddler.
Very nice to have dish soap, hand soap, enough toilet paper and a washer and dryer! We brought our own detergent and it was great to wash out clothes before we left. Would stay here again. Thank you so much for having us!

Property was great and near a great location. Check-in time and instructions were clear. Had an issue where water was unavailable for over 6 hours and could have been handled better.

Amazing Property
We were so impressed by the condo! It was extremely clean and checking in/out was very easy. It was great to have a dedicated parking spot and everything we needed during our stay. It is walking distance to the park and the beach and a quick drive to downtown and South Beach. We are already looking to stay again next summer!

Great Place All Around
Everything about the stay was pleasant. It was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Just note that even though they show a pool in the pictures and email correspondence, it is only available during the summer months. We somehow missed this during the booking and were hoping for the hot tub.

Really Great Stay!!
Our family of 5 with 3 young kids had a blast during our stay here. The indoor pool was fantastic to have across the parking lot and was used a lot by our kids. We’ll look to come back another time when we visit South Haven again.

We had a bit of a cool week so the indoor pool was a lifesaver with three kids. Would recommend bringing extra blankets/comforters as the air conditioner on the lower level works really well. Highly recommend!

Lovely condo for our long weekend
The condo was perfectly located for our long weekend in South Haven. It is was immaculately clean with plenty of space for the four adults to relax and unwind. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for our needs. We had coffee each morning on the deck and walked into town or took day trips. The neighbors were very friendly and made us feel as if we were part of the community instead of visitors. We would definitely rent again.
