The staff (from Argentina) at check-in was friendly, very nice and provided detailed knowledge about the hotel, stay and the city. The stay was very nice, quiet and comfortable. Bristol, itself, is a beautiful city to visit and enjoy.

Very enjoyable stay, booked pre show dinner at 1730 for a show at Beacon at 1900 on advice of reception staff. Sadly although seated at dining table by 1730 had to go and tell staff meal order at 1800 which due to cooking times restricted us to only 1 course. But food was wonderful
Skimped on en suite size in room, toilet pushed into small alcove which larger people may struggle with.
Moving wall behind open wardrobe on right of door 6 inches would have made a big difference. Apart from the there was nothing we didn't like

Perfect location opposite the water, restraunts etc friendly staff
Breakfast could be better, so could the aircon, to add breakfast and parking the price was crazy

The idea that we were staying in an old
Manor House type property and the small
Double bed was actually quite comfortable. The location was good as it was a 10 minute drive into Bath.
The windows were all
Open on the ground floor and as we had a self
Check in it felt a little unsafe. Was unable to close our hotel room window over night.
The room was very small and the shower very basic. Toiletries were at an absolute minimum.
Breakfast was cold and the coffee was really weak…no attention to detail as there was also a wasp in the apple juice on the side!
It was an experience for sure!
