Well apointed Hotel as you should expect from a Hilton Hotel.
Some of the fittings in particularly the bathroom were a little tatty.

Great location to historic area. Easy walk from bus station. Bus to airport stopped right outside.
Rather basic accommodations. Food ordered in bar area with limited menu.

The reception area is very impressive. The room was very nicely decorated and very modern. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was perfect. Staff were friendly and efficient.
The bar and reception aircon was set too cold. We wanted to get a drink in the bar before we went out, but it was so cold, we didn't bother and went elsewhere.
It was a bit noisy, some loud voices woke us on Sunday morning. Not sure if it was from another room or in the corridor.
Not the hotel's fault, but Bristol loves a church bell on a Sunday morning. The hotel is right between two churches so it was quite loud if you're hoping for a Sunday lie-in.
The car park charge is quite expensive (£20 for 24 hours - or £18 if you pay at reception)

Staff were very friendly throughout.
Decor and general feel of the place was tired and dated.
In addition we had a door in our room through to an interconnecting room. This was not sound proof so we could hear everything that the couple next door were doing and saying.
