Staff at this hotel amazing

The staff at this location were amazing helpful kind and always smiling. They went above and beyond. I was in a room over the function room room 203, the party went on till 12 it was like being in a disco a teenage event both Friday and Saturday . I was fuming as I had just lost my mother and wanted a quiet night, the window nearly fell out ( it’s an old beautiful building) but the staff were so accommodating, the beds so comfy, the afternoon tea divine and the spa and treatments luxurious thank you to all the staff or u would not have paid. Well done lovely workers

It was nice because the location was perfect but I wouldn’t be in a rush to return

The location was incredible, the building was very grand and felt special and the staff were very friendly

The room could have been revamped. Paint peeling from the bathroom, shower head wasn’t that clean, orange grout, stains all over the carpet

Magnífico hotel

Muy cómodo. Habitación espaciosa, muy limpia la habitación y el baño, que es grande y cómodo. Agua y Ginebra de cortesía. Plancha con su tabla.

El precio de los hoteles en Reino Unido está muy alto y este era caro, aunque no en la franja más alta.

Just okay.

Property is very well located, can be anywhere in Bristol (by walking or cab) in only a few minutes. The hotel is very clean and the staff are as helpful as one would expect.

Upon check-in we learned: - Our room wouldn’t have A/C (summer night, we were expecting A/C but not the end of the world) and we couldn’t be moved - The pool has been closed for years, we’d hoped to swim as we saw a pool on the photos from website - The lobby bar was out of several key ingredients (couldn’t make us a coffee, or Bloody Mary, and all beer taps were shut off after first round for cleaning - we visited Sunday mid-afternoon, not an unreasonable hour to expect these things) Overall the stay was fine but 350£ for the weekend I have to say the small things added up and felt disappointing.

Weekend getaway

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and the decor in the building was beautiful..

The coffee stains on the wall wasn't pleasant. The room was so hot, it was very uncomfortable to sleep even with a fan on as you couldn't adjust the fan and the air con would only go as low as 18c.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Very clean and modern. Nice rooms

The only thing I didn’t like was the mate check in. Kind of let’s them down as everything else is spot on. We didn’t check in until about 4:15 as our room wasn’t ready

Great location and super comfy beds

Bed as super comfortable, staff were helpful, easy to find and a nice restaurant.

Elements of the hotel room weren’t working ie. TV and kettle and took a bit of time to resolve. Also only 1 bottle of water a day and complimentary gin but no tonic, would be good to get more water and also some tonic.

Great location, right in the middle of the city center with loads to do. Rooms were nice and comfortable, spa was small but nice to have!

central location, huge shower & bath, comfortable bed, relaxing spa

bubble bath, do not disturb sign for the door, breakfast room service option would have been appreciated. don’t recommend the ncp car parkas my car got broken into

comfortable and welcoming stay at quirky modern hotel

central, modern but quirky, staff were extremely professional but friendly and helpful. Paula in particular was really lovely. remembered our names and room number and arranged for luggage to be taken to our room whilst we were out. bathroom was well stocked. robes and slippers were a great touch. complimentary gin. comfortable bed. great air con.

Lovely on the whole, friendly staff, clean and beautiful rooms.

Loved the room was beautiful and clean.

The view was not best for the room we had and the spa being closed was disappointing.

The spa was out of order due to maintenance work. That put a damp spell on the trip. one of the main reasons for choosin

Great

Spacious room, but poorly lit, tidy and fair standard. I was overall happy and even befriended a mouse that popped in to visit us one morning ;)

Lights and lack of localised car park. We parked at hotel next door which was cheaper and closer than the one recommended by the venue. Also door cards go dead quite often. Still happy with visit and would visit again

Exceptional

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of the vibrant city. Building is beautiful. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Bedroom is amazing, comfortable bed with complimentary drinks in the room. Breakfast is also good.

Swimming pool could have been warmer.
