Great location just next to the park on one side and shopping center to the other side. All the hotel amenities were spo

Location and value for money

They need to take a look at sound proofing the windows better. We could hear loud exhaust vehicles late at night.

Hotel con una buena ubicación, tranquilo, renovado y bien equipado.

Ubicacion excelente. Vistas (en la segunda habitacion), muy buenas, al parque. Buenos colchones. Baño muy bien equipado.

Las ventanas no se pueden abrir y no se ventila habitación, no se sabe si hace frio o calor. A nuestra llegada no estaba nuestra habitación (4) disponible y nos dieron dos dobles. Fueron muy amables, pero fue un trastorno.

Good selection of food for breakfast. Very friendly staff particularily bar staff. Good reception staff - a great improvement since last stay.

1. No hot water in one of rooms - I suspect it was known about prior to check in. 2. Replacement room had leaking sink when went to room - fixed within 45 mins.

Adequate.

The room was clean and spacious. Location was easy to get to by car and was close to the shopping centre.

Too expensive for room only. At best, breakfast should be included and/or the price for parking which was an astronomical - £24.95 for 24hrs parking !!!!

We properly wouldn't stay again, although the staff were very polite and knowledgable.

1. Location was the best part of the stay 2. Room was not like the picture on Booking.com 3. Breakfast was not included in the price. N/A

Would have been nice to be notified that there was construction works/upgrade going on at the hotel. Drilling in the morning which was not good, but we do understand that works need to be carried out. Unfortunately, we seemed to be given the room right next to it. The hot tap was not working properly, dripping water...

Good location to explore Bristol, but rooms are not worth the price that the hotel is charging!

The location of the hotel was perfect. Staff were really friendly and very helpful, particularly the reception staff. We were allowed an early check in for which we were very grateful.

We were really disappointed with our room. The first few room photos on Booking.com are for the rooms in the hotel that have been recently refurbished, and when we booked we expected (wrongly) that all rooms in the establishment would be like this. Sadly not the case and our room, whilst very clean, was tired and a bit shabby. If we wanted to stay in a refurbished room we would have had to pay for an upgrade. We didn't feel that the room we were given reflected the price that we paid for two nights. I'm sure the hotel will be great once all the rooms have been done up, but don't book here expecting to get one of the nice fancy rooms that you first see on the Booking.com website!

Excellent place for a base into town.

Loved how clean it was. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly.

The lack of information about the parking. A name for it would have been helpful. Also didn’t know you could get it cheaper unless you asked.

Nice stay with excellent food.

A pleasant stay in a nice room. I took advantage of the restaurant on this occasion too. The ribs were excellent. I shall most definitely be back.

When you book using Booking.com you don't get all of the Marriott Bonvoy points which is disappointing.

Beautiful

Have never stayed in this hotel before but decided on this one instead of any others in the area simply for its grandeur. It did not disappoint, I am looking forward to booking my next stay.

The air con/heater was a bit noisy.

We’d come back again for the location only

We liked the convenience of being right next to the shopping centre & amenities everything was within easy walking distance taxis can pull up right outside. We liked the brand of toiletries to use & mini fridge with drink station Staff were lovely & friendly

The bath handle didn’t work pretty thin walls for noise levels as we could hear next door talking & playing loud music (we called reception & it was rapidly sorted out though) heating kept going cold & parking next to the property is £17 per day which isn’t cheap considering the hotel isn’t either so you pay alot all in. Sounds petty but the windows were so filthy we could hardly see out of our street balcony view

Great room with 2 double beds. Good location.

Check in took a while but the hotel was incredibly busy and staff were very nice.

Bristol was good - will come again 😊

Breakfast was v good. Location of hotel was also good and comfortable

Our room was directly opposite the lifts which made it noisier as people waiting outside weren’t respectful.

Good location and nice to see some rooms being refurbished.

Rooms are spacious and the gym has a lot of equipment compared to other hotel gyms. Parking is easily accessible and the breakfast is pretty good.

Lifts are very slow so if you are on the higher up floors, it takes a long time to get to your room. Room was also a bit cold and the heater didn't really work.

Extremely noisy, poor noise insulation, room felt dated, could hear other guests very clearly.

Room was okay. Extremely noisy though. Got woken up a lot from other guests being very noisy in the hallway. I expected a bit of noise due to the location, but the traffic noise was unbearable and did expect to kept awake by traffic. The noise suppression from the windows seemed to be non existent and the room felt very very noisy. I have stayed at busy locations before and they were much quieter than this hotel.

Far too noisy. Other guests woke me up multiple times. Could hear other rooms toilets flushing, which created a very loud hum and vibration due to poor plumbing. Very disappointed in terms of noise, every possible noise felt worse in this hotel. I do not expect to be woken up by another guest going to the toilet, so was a little shocked I could hear this during my stay.

Short stay but exceeded expectations, thanks.

Breakfast was excellent, huge choice - cooked, continental, cereals, baked goods - which was regularly restocked.

The only thing that comes to mind was that one of the lifts was out of order - I was on tenth floor.

Fantastic, will be coming back in the future

Great location, kind and helpful staff, beautiful lobby and nice bar. Room was great size, and had a small bath. The later check out was useful, and we were able to leave bags. Wonderful price for a friday night.

Would have absolutely loved to have access to the pool, but it is currently closed. The bedroom decor (carpet, chairs, desk) is quite outdated, but all functional and clean.

Good value, great location

Very comfortable bed. Nice warm room, Central location- walking distance to Clifton Suspension Bridge (3miles)

For the price I expected something more modern. That hotel is stuck in the 90s. There was dust everywhere.

Very close to the city and decent accommodation

Accommodation is right near where my daughter is staying for Uni so it is great to be so near her. Also very near everything in the City. It is very close to the Christmas market area and Cabot Circus shopping.

I have stayed here a few times. This time I was on a lower floor and it wasn't as soundproof. In previous rooms I have never heard the main road but this time I did.

Disappointed

Location ideal with parking next door.

The hotel did NOT take any notice of my request which was to have a room on a high floor away from the road noise (which the rooms do suffer with). Instead we were placed on the 1st floor and in a room next to one which was having Ozone cleaning carried out due to fungus, bacteria or mold. Have stayed at the hotel on many occasions and expected a better service, very disappointed 😞

Lovely hotel

The room was lovely and clean and there were good facilities although we didn't make use of them all as we were only there for a short stay. Check in and check out was quick and the staff were friendly.

The matress was really solid and firm which wasn't the most comfortable for us.

Unexpected upgrade, very welcome, apparently renovating hotel from top down. Excellent room, minor discrepancies, fan in bathroom constantly on, toilet door lock didn't lock Executive lounge awesome. Beer, wine, snacks 24/7

Awesome. My family had a great time. From the reception to the cleaner. Service with a smile.

Location! It’s just right next to the shopping area. Everything is accessible by foot The hotel has a classic feel to it which we love.

We keep needing to reset the key and having to go down to the reception

Unlikely to return.

The bed was comfortable.

The decor was run down and outdated, my first room smelt like body odour which I was willing to ignore for the sake of not complaining, then after unpacking, I went to use the shower, the shower didn’t work and then fosset fell off so I had to switch rooms with the second being no better, the room smelt of damp from the air conditioning unit, the shower worked at least but the shower head didn’t fit the holder which made it loose and hit my head a few times! The pool and the terrance were also closed so it did feel like a waste of money overall. Staff were lovely however!
