The pretty, cosy alleyway that our room overlooked was also very quiet. Large, very comfortable bed along with good air-con. Very convenient 5 minute walk from the Wien Mitte station and the CAT bus.

Great location, charming building and friendly staff. Room was at least clean.
The sprawling building meant that there wasn't really a lobby area for drinks and to meet colleagues. It was not hot during our stay so can't complain about the lack of aircon. However the room and bathroom were extremely dated. The lavatory had a orange stain in the pan and shower although functional and worked well was also very dated, The TV was too small to see from the bed and there are no power sockets by the bedside - just an antiquated pushbutton (non-functioning) radio which i haven't seen in hotel rooms since the 1990s! The mini kettle overflowed when boiling and there are again no power sockets by the minifridge where the kettle is located. No blanket on thin duvet so my wife was cold all night. Really didn't feel it was value for money.
