I like how old is it and the heritage of the hotel, it felt special

We had a junior suite and it was spacious, complete and comfortable. The couch sat fine, the beds were not too soft and there were enough lights and curtains to make it cozy. The airco worked fine, even when it was above 30° outside, the room was cool.
The bathroom was complete, the jetstreambath was great, the shower had enough water and was easy to adjust in temperature.
With the room came access to the spa. Nice pool, sundeck, two saunarooms, some showers and nice soft towels that were large enough.
This time of year you can eat outside or inside. Breakfest was good and had everything you want, dining is great with beautiful dishes filled with flavour. Staff is constantly available, friendly and gives you honest advice instead of recommending the most expensive. They really put the guest first and you can feel that everywhere.
In the evening there is a bar and if you want to smoke there is a seperate smoking room. You can have a drink there while sitting on a comfy couch and if you like cigars, they have a decent variety to choose from.
There is a parking garage next to the hotel, but you can also drive up to the hotel and use their parkservice.
All and all we had a great stay. It wasn't our first time there and it will definatelly not be our last. We'll come back next year for sure.
The toiletseat in the bathroom was loose, there was no drain grate, but we still could use the plug.
The spa is open from 9 am till 9 pm, but we couldn't use the sauna before 10am mondaymorning.
The curtain are a bit heavy to open/close.
