Excellent location, close to everything and great service. A small hiccup in communication which was easily resolved. Great breakfast and coffee to start the next day with, room was clean and spacious, and some nice surprising extras we didn't expect. Would go here again if we decide to visit Heidelberg.
The elevator could've been a bit more spacious to our liking and we really wanted some baskets for our bread in the morning :( but these are minor inconveniences compared to the upsides.

Very nice place close to the old city. Rooms are tidy, with large bathroom and comfortable beds. The breakfast was supreme.
Refrigerator was out of order.

The Hotel is older but was immaculate and is right on the river - I think the receptionist took pity on a sweaty biker and gave us a huge room overlooking the river with a super comfy bed. Easy 20 minute walk along the river into the old town. What a breakfast !! the most colourful of our trip. Beautifully presented array of so many fresh fruits, unusually including figs redcurrants, blueberries, mango - plus all the cheeses salads and fish & breads. Not so many cakes which was quite welcome as we were at the end of our trip! Bike was safe in a spot outside. The students of Heidleberg (on a Friday night ) are a credit to their Uni. Lovely to see all ages out along the river bank on a summers evening - with no mess or litter left behind ( sadly unlike UK)
We only had one night here sadly, we'd have liked to have stayed longer.
