Very hot inside the building too hot and no ability to cool down apart from tiny opening on the window needsproper ventilation. Fine to stay in it in the autumn but over the summer would be crucifying.

Most staff members were really lovely. Good location. Decent price per night (although nearby parking fairly cancels that out [not the hotel's fault]).
We had specifically pre-requested rooms overlooking the dock but this was not actioned (the hotel was not busy and most of the dock-side rooms on our corridor were very clearly available). Horribly hot in the bedroom and the windows only opened a fraction. Repeated snippy service from one particular staff member (all others were so lovely, though). Never have I encountered a hotel bar which does not have a corkscrew bottle opener!!! The rude response when we asked a staff member at the bar to open one bottle of our own corked wine for us was particularly memorable!
