Excellent Apartment in a great location!
Loved Saco Fitzrovia! Its a lovely area and convenient for excellent restaurants, pubs, shops and close to all attractions. Quick walk from London Euston too. The apartments are modern, clean and very comfortable with everything you need. Will definitely be booking again!
Would have liked more tea/coffee in the apartment and toilet roll. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Great location, disappointing service
Location
Lack of prompt service, towels not changed even after a week, no cleaning during a 15 day stay unless you pay extra. Smaller beds and bathrooms than expected

High expectations, but quality and service really compromised, unfortunately.
Location was the best thing about Sonder The Bard. It was great, walking distance to the main attractions and parks. Underground station (Goodge Street, Northern line) was 1 min walking. A lot of very nice restaurants in the area. To my surprise, the area was quite silent during the night (we stayed on the 6th floor). Self check-in was also appreciated, as well as the supply cabinet for what we needed (additional coffee, tea, sugar, toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags, etc), free of charge. Beds were comfortable, bed linen and towels of good quality. Wi-Fi is very good.
The assistance was really bad. We stayed for 12 nights, and on the very first day we informed that the bed side lamps (from all beds) were not working. We were told that someone would go there the day after to fix. One week passed and no one came to fix. Then I complained again, someone came and said he had to buy new lamps. Another week has passed, we left, and still the lamps were not fixed. The kitchen curtain above the counter was not working. The tap from the main bathroom was really loose. Overall the apartment is nice, but it's clearly visible that it needs to be maintained to be kept in good condition. Deterioration signs are visible everywhere. Also, regarding the cleaning, we found the living room rug and the floor with a lot of hair. I vacuumed the rug and all apartment and couldn't believe all the dirt that came out.

Very good
Nice, clean apartment, the location was great !
Terrible drill noise, every morning at 7.30-8 am. This noise was coming from the apartment above. Many neighbors have complained about this. Everything would be fine if not for this noise, it ruined our mornings !!! If you on holiday you want to sleep!!!! .

I won't be returning.
+Location was probably the best thing about our stay. We were also happy with the kitchen appliances and products that were provided ahead of time. If you run out, you have an option to grab free off charge essentials from the ground floor cabinet. The apartment was cleaned before our arrival, although a used cup and a broken mirror frame were forgotten on the dining table. I didn't have enough space for the negatives so I will be adding them here too: -There was a large construction site right outside (not an exaggeration, we were eye to eye with the workers) of our windows. It is better if you get the upper floors but that's is not guaranteed. The building itself, although with a refreshed interior, is noticeably old. You can hear your neighbours and the outside noise very easily. Wouldn't have been a huge issue if not for the loud construction noises that started at 7/8 am and went on until 4pm. Some of the furniture is also in need of some check ups. I broke my nail struggling to open a closet door in the master bedroom, which was a bummer as I had an event coming up soon. Speaking of closets, one of the bedrooms is so tiny that it has no room for one. For some reason they choose to put a massive desk instead of a dresser, which was very inconvenient especially when there is more than one person staying together. The staff although friendly, are unreliable and unorganised. After a week I decided to extend our stay. Once we managed to do that they did not clearly communicate that we would be moving to a different place. It was an issue for us because we had 8 suitcases and their check in and out times have close to 5 hours between them. You can ask for a late or early check in but them seeing your request without you having to constantly remind them is unlikely. As mentioned below, they neglected to check that a resident was still staying in one of the apt. and we all basically walked in on him sleeping. Very upsetting and unnerving for him and...
One night at 4 am I woke to the sound of our bathroom ceiling leaking. I immediately contacted them and asked for someone to come. Once the leakage started getting worse I told them this was an emergency and someone should arrive now. Assured me someone would in a concerned-customer-service-voice, but no one did. They even lied to me that someone was on the way when in reality they hadn't even spoken to anyone. The heating and lights stopped working as a result, and still no one showed up. We were forced to go up to the upper resident's place, who is a stranger to us and the whole thing was extremely frightening for me to do, at 6 am. We discovered that the leaking was coming from an overflowing toilet that she told us she had requested them to fix two days ago but where no one showed up (I had no difficulty believing her because we had a similar issue with our dishwasher where we waited for someone an entire day but no one arrived). At last someone arrived at 10 am and at this point we were very upset, tired and cold. The entire morning I was on the call with several people where I had to reexplain the same issue for them to tell me: Their management doesn't work on Sat. so they can't issue me a refund for my pre-booked month (I wanted to leave); They can offer me to move to a new place and then move to another one after 2 days because they both are booked at different slots. And with their check in times I would have to wait god know's where for 4/5 hours TWICE; Then told me I can't even move to either of those apartments either, so will have to spend the nigh in that toilet water drained apartment with no functioning bathroom, heating or light. After they finally found us a new place, they offered to show it to us as a possible option, only for the current resident to still be there, because the staff forgot to check that he had a late check out.
