Good location

The location.

On Saturday night, there was loud music but fortunately did not go past midnight.

Overall it was a convenient place to stay but the street/nightclub noise was bad for the 3 nights of our stay.

It was clean with good shower and comfy beds.Close to CBD and can walk to train station & Coles supermarket: taxi rank outside door.

The bars/night clubs in street were very noisy till 3 pm. Front bedroom had no soundproofing, v. difficult to sleep on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Also no coffee/teabags in unit. Also the $500 security bond seems a bit high, $200-250 is usual price.

Good

I was told there was not a coffee machine but infact there was. I brought my own plunger which was inconvenient. Otherwise all ok. Perhaps a few hooks to hang towels.

clean , good facilities , location is good but beware Saturday night is very noisy in the street

too noisy on a Saturday night I couldn’t sleep in the front room luckily there was a single bed in the other room where the noise wasn’t as bad

Would stay again

Really convenient being near the Kings Cross Station. Apartment was well-kept and clean. Slight noise on weekend but not even half as bad as we were expecting. Elaine was also really nice and helpful!

Great place, but needs tweaks to bring to scratch.

We spent 6 nights here and loved the location in Potts Point/Kings Cross, a short walk to supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The Amcal pharmacy across the road fitted us in for booster shots which made the rest of the trip worry-free. It was comfortable and we liked the two bedrooms and outdoor area at the back, though on the weekend the music from the below nightclub got pretty loud. Just turn up the telly! We appreciated the triple security to enter the building: Scan to enter the front door, then again at a second door, and again at the lift. And it was great having a lift of course! Get the check-in manager to arrange all-day, in-and-out parking at the Wilson across the road for $250. It was worth paying $40 a day for the flexibility. Don’t think about parking in the street: it is impossible!

Cleanliness was poor. There was dust everywhere and the laundry floor hadn’t been cleaned for months under the ironing board - which is superfluous, because there was no iron in the apartment! There was bad mould on the bathroom tiles, and they didn’t leave enough toilet paper for the length of our stay. Basic kitchen utensils and bowls were hard to find. They need a non-stick frypan. The apartment also needs more lounge furniture: a few footstools? An armchair? The second bedroom, which has the apartment’s wardrobes, is crying out for a mirror, preferably full-length. There are no wardrobes in the main bedroom. For either light or air conditioning, the wall to the main bedroom does not go to the ceiling so you can’t block out noise from the kitchen/living to that bedroom. In our view it would be better to have the main bedroom at the back of the apartment where it is far more spacious. Bayswater Road is noisy at the best of time so there’s no advantage in sleeping at the front overlooking that road, even though the Juliet balcony is cute.

Superb

Clean and comfortable apartment that suited my family and I for our stay in Sydney. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy walk to supermarkets and transportation. Friendly staff checked us in.

Great value, easy and clean

Location was excellent. Front bedroom was noisy on weekend nights due to location but that’s what you get staying in a convenient location for shops and public transport.

It was very warm and there was no air conditioning. I imagine in summer it would be very hot
