Great loacation and great value for money

Great location, lovely big house with really nice decor. Open plan kitchen and diner was so nice. Lots of rooms and beds for everyone to stay.

It was sooooo hot, we were dying in the heat lol. There didn't seem to be anyway to turn the heating off either. There wasn't any parking, which we did know and we parked at the park and ride which was fine. It would have been handy though to be able to have at least parked one car as we had a lot of kids with us and taking all our bags on the bus was quite difficult. Like I said though we knew that in advance so maybe we shouldn't have bought so much stuff haha

Great location. Comfortable home. Slight hassle with check-in info.

Fantastic location. Loads of lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. 15 mins to town center. House is nicely decorated and comfortable.

There is only one bathroom., although there is a guest loo. A 3rd party company manages the property and they require selfies and photos of ID of renter. They won’t give you the address until 24/48 hours before and lots of the info they send about the location is incorrect (wifi instructions, parking, local info etc). There is a small parking space at the side of the house but there is no lip on the curb so, be careful when using it. Sofa sleeper was damaged but totally usable as a couch.

Lovely home in Jericho, Oxford - big enough for 4

Central and quiet location - proximity to shops, restaurants, sights. Large and spacious - we had 4 people in our group and did not feel cramped. Bright and airy. Well equipped.

The arrival info “fact sheet” initially sent to me was incorrect - it was for a different property and not the one I booked. Even the third and final iteration of the document was not completely correct (eg wrong Wi-fi details). On arrival, we ran into problems with key lock - it took ages to get the keys out (perhaps a previous guest had damaged it?). I think perhaps the property managers are new as they were not able to give correct / useful answers regarding car parking or how to operate the television. Nevertheless the positive of the lovely home outweighed the negatives in the end.

comfortable house in a good residential location much nicer inside than out but on a pretty residential quiet road

It has a nice open plan sitting room and kitchen and easy to keep clean and tidy. 2 decent sized double bedrooms and one small room with bunk beds. I like the area of Jericho in Oxford

the small room had no wardrobe or table or bedside lamp. The information about the property was only accessible through a different agency to booking.com and only accessible on a link which made it fiddly to access. There was no print out of anything in the property and no guide books. the info said there would be yea coffee and washing powder already there so we didn’t bother buying it but found that the only tea was chamomile and green tea the only coffee was filter coffee not instant and there was no washing powder. small niggles just annoying when you have kids. there was a lot of legal contract type info that flooded in after we booked about noise after 10 pm and ID documents which I haven’t encountered before and made it all seem a bit unfriendly tbh. the house itself is modern and not particularly pretty on the outside. on the whole though I’d recommend it as inside its comfortable and a nice residential area and easy reach of nice cafes and restaurants towards Walton road and St Giles and a 15 min pleasant walk to Broad Street and centre.

Bathroom could do with some tlc (ceiling) and flooring on 1st floor landing needs addressing as could be potentially quite dangerous

Well located, but well used

Good location. Rental company quick to respond to queries.

Parking space was small and difficult to manoeuvre into. I had to climb out of the boot once I’d parked! Process for sending ID and a £250 deposit for one eve (which took 2 weeks to be returned) was excessive! House is run down and well used. Back door didn’t have a key to lock it, just a bolt. Downstairs toilet looked dirty but I think just needed updating. Several blinds didn’t quite work etc.

Property was exactly as described -clean and had facilities we needed. Price point was good.

Location was excellent. Everythinig was quiet and rooms very clean. Showere was good.

The security around boking the property was absolutely ridiculous -I have never been asked for a photograph of myself holding my photo id. The whole process was very unclear and it was extremely difficult to get information about time frames etc from the security people. I was repeatedly told someone would reach out to me! Yuck!!! All I wanted was information. Booking.com has never been like this before -and I have used it many times.

A pleasant return visit to Oxford.

There was no breakfast—this is a self-catering house. Location is good—accessible to Oxford and to transportation.

The operation of the key box was awkward—we had a difficult time opening it on arrival, and upon departing, after a long call to StayBeyond, we finally left the key through the mail slot, being unable to get the box to open (delayed our departure about 20 minutes). The Wi-Fi password in the house was not accurate—we eventually called StayBeyond to get the updated password. There were no instructions/information for appliances and other functions in the house—we resorted to finding a couple of them online. We made two or three calls to StayBeyond, who were very helpful, but who each time had to call the local owner/manager. One other minor item—the lock is partially missin on the downstairs bathroom door.

Disappointing and stressful

The property didn’t have a functioning key. The back door had been left open so we were able to get in that way via the garden. Our stay was for 3 nights yet it took the property 23 hours to provide us with a functioning key (they had to change the lock). This severely impacted our enjoyment of the holiday as someone had to stay in the property for a full day (a third of our stay) until it was fixed. It created a lot of stress for the rest of us and bookings at museums etc had to be missed as a result so we lost money. I find this unacceptable - a basic requirement of a property is to provide a working key.

Ideal accommodation for a weekend get-together.

Very quiet residential location very near the centre of Oxford. Easy to get to and a handy parking space right next to the house. Well equipped, warm and comfortable.

looking run down, patch of carpet outside of bathroom there to patch up a hole/damage in floor boards. very steep wooden stairs so not child friendly. front door lock very temperamental.

Would definately recommend this property. Nicely decorated and plenty of room for a family.

Loved the interior design of the house! Great property with plenty for space for a family of 4. Walking distance to Oxford town centre. Nice to have a parking space - managed to fit a Nissan Qashqai, but very tight.

The shower screen in the bath could do with replacing. There are gaps and water leaks out creating a slipping hazard for kids.

Pleasant

Close enough to centre that taxis didn’t cost too much! Cheap and cheerful if all you want to do is get your head down.

The parking space hasn’t got a drop curb so would of taken the front of my car off trying to get up the curb. Unfortunately the tv runs off a Ariel system so most of the time didn’t work. No milk or coffee provided.

Excellent location in a nice quiet area. Not far to walk. Would benefit from some new beds.

The location is excellent for Oxford city center. There were nearby Restaurants and pubs just minutes away.

I wasn't sent an email with the lockbox code on. It took us a while trying to find who to contact to get in. The beds were quite uncomfortable with winter duvets on. One of the beds is metal and is very squeaky to the point that you woke yourself up every time you moved. There is something wrong with the top floor bed so you can only sleep on half of it. All the blinds seem to be tangled up so they don't close properly.

Jericho escape

The location was brilliant, but the house itself was disappointing. The hob didn’t work, there was only a wardrobe in one bedroom other 3 bedrooms had no room for hanging clothes. On the last day it rained and the porch flooded right next to the electric meter.

Fantastic location. Too expensive for what you actually get for your money.

Location was brilliant.

The mattress in the upstairs bedroom is unacceptable! You can tell the house is a rental. Side gate is ready to fall apart. Musty smell on arrival. Lots of marks etc on furniture. Had to email company repeatedly to get the £250 deposit back.

Great location

Excellent location for getting into town and there are lots of interesting shops/bars/restaurants close by, as well as a playground for children.

Only 1 bathroom and an extra toilet; not a problem, but takes some time for everyone to wash!

Okay if you look for value for money!

Good value for money, warm house with reasonable amenities.

Cleaning okay but no real attention to detail, if you look closely! Some furniture needs attention, bed frames noisy, sofa or living room tables may break very soon. No point asking about how many parking spaces we require when only one is available.
