Lovely small hotel. Food was excellent
We think there was maybe a flag on the roof which kept us awake at night, only heard as we were in the top rooms

The restaurant in the staff were very good
I booked a suite which was clearly described as having a separate bedroom, this is important because I don’t sleep well and can disturb my partner. There was no separate bedroom, merely a seating area. The room was right on the road and the cobbled roads made vehicle noise a nuisance. The room was decorated in a very particular style and was extremely dark throughout. Even with all the lights on it was simply depressing to be in the room. Also there were a number of diffusers creating an unpleasant smell. I suspect that to a particular audience this room would be wonderful, but I don’t believe it works at all for the general hotel staying population..
