Nestled in Ocean Beach, this attractive house for $329 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Summary: Bring your dog to your next vacation home in beautiful Ocean Beach. Located in a quiet neighborhood just 5 blocks from the beach and walking distance to local shops, restaurants and boutiques, you have everything you need right at your fingertips. After a day out around town, come home to relax in the hot tub and grill on the rooftop as you watch the sunset over the ocean. Master bedroom has own TV, second bedroom has bunk bed set with larger lower bed. AC unit provided! The Space: This is a residential street with abundant street parking. We love your pets and have a large yard for them to frolic in, but please be sure to clean up after them. Guest Access: You have complete and unfettered access to the unit. You are also welcome to use the fenced in front yard for your dogs but we request that you monitor their use since the front yard is the entry point for both your unit and the back unit. Please pick up after your pet as well. The rear of the property, including the deck and hot tub are shared with the owner. She is rarely home and even less often uses the space but it is shared. Other Things to Note: This property is pet friendly. There is a $100 pet fee applied after booking. If you have any questions please ask!

This place was perfect for our family, including a 5 and 7 year-old. There's a park just a block away, lots of great shopping and restaurants, and of course the beach less than a mile down the road. The house itself has a great kitchen, nice sunny living and dining area, and an awesome deck over the garage with a view of the ocean. Just look out for the hard edges on the queen bed- my wife bruised her shins running into that thing!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Walkable to the beach, pet friendly with fenced front and back yards, quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking, nice large kitchen given the size of the home overall. Nicely kept with plenty of towels, beach stuff, pillows and a generally equipped kitchen for a comfortable stay (altho only 5 forks!). Just a few hiccups, the AC went out the last night and when we went to turn on the fan instead, it broke too. The microwave also broke, but the property manager was very quick to respond and replace for us - much appreciated! The owner is super nice, but this is literally a duplex and you share the entire outside space and an interior wall with her. It was a bit hard to shake the feeling of intruding when you're in the shared yard, roof deck and hot tub directly in spaces she also shares. Very nice though and overall the house worked great for us for our somewhat extended stay!

Location was near beach and down a quiet street. We had a few hiccups during our stay sugar ants over ran the kitchen had to put all food in the fridge, the thermostat stopped working on the last night, couch is pretty uncomfortable, there are only 5 forks in the entire house and there were hairs on the pillows upon check in. Lastly, the house is in fact over the flight path and the air noise can be quite loud. Some pros for the house is the patio area is immaculately kept and gorgeous and all beach stuff is provided.

Cute little place in the suburbs of SD. Was provided the phone number of the host and was able to contact them as needed. The view of the cost was beautiful from the elevated deck. The hot tub was great for the chilly nights. The trash bins are located behind the fence in the back yard. It took me a while to figure that out. The queen bed was a bit squeaky, however comfortable. The constant planes flying overhead were loud, so bring ear plugs if you are a sensitive sleeper. Was provided with cooking essentials like salt, pepper, some seasonings, cooking spray/oil…etc. overall a really nice place and would stay again.

Everything about this property is just as described. The booking process was easy, the communication from the property manager was great, and the place is beautifully maintained. The location of the property is great. It is located near the main street of Ocean Beach and just a few walking blocks off the beach. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The house is the front house of a duplex and is shared with the owner living in back. The house is very dog friendly with a gated front yard and back yard. The backyard is in the shared space and includes access to the hot tub and rooftop deck. The inside of the house was nicely modernized and has central a/c, a big plus for humid and hot weather. The only negative (and not really a negative) is that the house is directly in the takeoff flight path of the SAN airport. It can be noisy if you have the windows open; however, there is a flight curfew between 11:30pm and 6:30am. Great house and wonderful stay. I will definitely come back.

This is a great place to get away in beautiful San Diego. My family really enjoyed our stay. The host is amazing and she lives next door. If you are looking to buy property in the area she is the lady to talk to. Walking distance from everything you need in OB. This is our second stay at this location.

This was in a very convenient location within walking distance of Newport Ave which is the main drag for shops and food that leads right to Ocean Beach. The house itself is located in a very friendly neighborhood and parking was easy. The house is well maintained and really has no problems. The back area is really nice with a rooftop eating area, a barbecue, and a hot tub. It was too hot for us to use the hot tub but it looked clean and well maintained. Overall a great experience.
As mentioned with other reviewers the beds creak, but we stayed there a week and sleeping was not a problem for any of us.
We would definitely recommend it and would use it again if needed.

Beds are super comfy. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping, including CVS and Target. It’s very near an interstate exit so minimal traffic challenges. Quiet neighborhood. Parking was good, except on July 4th when fireworks traffic presented a small challenge.
One word of note, the duplex owner has a very calm and amiable dog that shared the back yard.

Our family enjoyed staying at this family and dog-friendly location. It was conveniently located to all the tourist spots of San Diego. It was in a nice neighborhood close to a family park and only 5 blocks from Ocean Beach. The only irritating aspect of this location was directly below a flight paths and there was frequent air traffic. I also think it’s worth noting that the master bed is very noisy, but the sheets were very comfortable. Minor wear and tear was noted in the interior, and more hooks would’ve been nice for hanging towels. We loved playing games and having drinks on the deck by the fire pit, overlooking the town and we were able to see a sliver of the ocean, and the hot tub was very relaxing. The grounds are very well-maintained with beautiful flowers and planted succulents and the owner’s dog Jazzi is very sweet. Ann Marie was also very helpful with any questions we had about the property. If you’re a coffee lover, please note there is not a Nespresso in the home (there’s a knock-off Keurig that takes K-cups), but there are a lot of local coffee shops to enjoy if you want fancier coffee. We appreciated having a washer and dryer to use, BBQ grill, and a full-stocked kitchen with pots/pans/plates/cutlery/spices/oil. Overall, it was a great place to kick-start our summer and made it much more comfortable for us as a family with young children and a dog.

Perfect house and location for our stay in Ocean Beach. We loved the property, the owner's dog, and the location of this cute little bungalow. Couldn't get enough of sitting in the living room with the front door open, heavy scent of jasmine wafting in from the porch. We had family over a couple times and took advantage of the terrific patio on top of the garage. Beautiful spot and view that fits a good sized crowd easily. Folks couldn't complement the house enough!

This was a lovley property. Check in was easy, Aaron was super communicative and helpful. The unit is very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Theres a playground right down the street that my daughter very much enjoyed!

Great house in a great area close to the beach and a lot of restaurants and shops. The owner was super nice and her dog Jazzy is the best. Back yard is fully fenced so our husky got to hang out in a safe area. We would stay here again.

We thought we were renting a pleasant place in which to spend a few weeks. In reality we found ourselves in a plain and uncomfortable house that did not at all make us feel "at home".
The owner was helpful but the manager was missing in action.
We would not be return renters.

The Vrbo rental was simple and easy. The owners rental manager reached out and provided details of the property and kept in touch as out date of arrival drew near.
The house was just right for our family Christmas gathering including our dogs. The house included full kitchen use with all utensils as well as laundry and a rooftop deck over the garage where we gathered almost every day.
We will definitely consider this location for our future visits.

This was an amazing home with a beautiful view, and most gracious host. My husband has brain cancer and we wanted to make this an incredible vacation and it ended up being even more than that. The house is everything it says and more. We hope to be able to stay again. Aaron the manager was AA+. Answered all our questions and took care of us. I want to say Thank you and to the owner Ann Marie and her dog Jazi who is so sweet.

This property was exactly as described in the listing. Clean, nicely appointed and in a great neighborhood. Easy parking and lots of things within walking distance.. We brought our two small dogs and the convenience of the front and back yards was a plus. The beds were VERY noisy/creaky, so even rolling over woke everyone in the unit, but other than that, we'd certainly stay again.

Convenient walkable location in Ocean Beach to the pier, restaurants, and shopping. Quick drive to Sunset Cliffs, La Jolla and downtown San Deigo. Property has a nice rooftop deck, hot tub, grill and fenced yard if you have a pet. There are beach umbrellas, beach chairs and boogie board’s for guests to use as well. Convenient street parking in front of the property. Kitchen is fully furnished and appliances are updated. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We enjoyed the rooftop for outdoor dining with a little glimpse of the ocean. We also had fun petting the friendly dog. Lots of dining options nearby, though also a heavy homeless population making the Ocean Beach area dirty and a little uncomfortable for us with a toddler. Furnishings were a little dated/in need of repair but property owners were very nice and responsive.

The listing was wrong and the unit has AC! We ran into the owner in the backyard and she asked why we had brought our own portable unit (this was during the start of the heat wave) since it had a nearly-new central AC system. Needless to say, very pleasant surprise.
Just be aware the owner is there pretty regularly during times of the year. She's very nice, but the yard is shared and we had to be careful about when we let our dogs out.

This is a gem of a stay in San Diego, the OB location is so close to the beach and relaxed. The only thing that would make this stay better is a King bed in main bedroom. The home is comfortable and the yard is perfect for dogs!

This property was super cute and close to everything in OB! It’s nice because it’s up on a neighborhood street where there is plenty of parking. The roof top deck over the garage has a beautiful view as well. Just keep in mind, the back house is attached to the rear part of this rental and their dog comes in and out through a dog door. Overall stay was very nice and communication was great!

Very nice house in cool neighborhood!
My entire family really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is in very good condition with lots of amenities and was very comfortable for our family to stay in. We really enjoyed the Ocean Beach neighborhood and it's proximity to the Ocean. The property was only about 5-6 blocks from the beach and from the commercial district in Ocean Beach, which has some really funky shops. It was a very fun neighborhood to stay. The neighborhood also had very easy connections to other parts of San Diego, easily connected to Downtown San Diego, La Jolla, and Coronado Island. We had an excellent time and appreciated the hospitality of our host. Thank you!

Perfect for first vacation with our puppy.
We live in Los Angeles and needed to have our house tented for termites. This OB rental was PERFECT for family with 18 yr. old daughter and 9 month golden doodle. San Diego area so dog friendly, location super convenient to everything (walking and driving). Fenced in yards, lounge area on top of garage, clean comfortable interior- we really loved it. Like so many places in San Diego- flight path above you. Our puppy got used to it after the first 2 or 3 went overhead- then no issues. The price is great- do not hesitate to rent.

Great place to stay close to the beach!
This is an awesome place to stay. The house sits most of the way up a hill, which is nice if you ride a bike straight down to the beach (you'll be to the beach in less than a 1 minute!). Of course, coming back takes a little more work, but the hill doesn't get steep until the very of the return trip. The house has lots of space for you and a small group of friends. I was actually surprised at how large the house was. Most of the rentals I stay in near the beach are tiny, but this house was huge compared to the others. And, the neighborhood has a great feel to it. Well-manicured houses and friendly, quiet neighbors. I loved exploring neighborhoods as we made our way to Hodad's for lunch. The roof-top sitting area was excellent. You can see the ocean while sitting by the fire pit. There's also a very comfortable hot tub to relax in at night - complete with subtle lighting and a vine-covered lattice for privacy. The owner is very responsive to questions or requests and we were even able to check-in a little early, which is rarely available at other places. So glad we found this place!

This property was great!! Simple but had everything we needed! Tons of beach toys and chairs. The owner is very friendly and accommodating with any questions we had. We have kids so it was very nice to have a quiet friendly neighborhood! House is walking distance to basketball courts and a playground if you’re traveling with children.
