Room was very comfortable and had all that myself and my wife required. Breakfast was very nice and they had a variety of options. Was situated near Bute park, we were attending a concert at Cardiff Castle so this was a great place to walk from.
Had no issues.

Being out of town in a quieter location with a safe place to park at no extra charge. We like to walk so it was ideal for us. A lovely homecooked breakfast with plenty of choice.
There was nothing not to like

Spacious. Good location. Great breakfast.
Parking situation. We booked this property on the grounds free parking was stated to be included. On arrival we were advised there wasn’t any parking & was met with an ambivalent attitude by one particular member of staff.
There were three spaces onsite blocked by cones.
After a 7 hour drive my husband found a space over a mile away and walked back.
I was informed should have booked parking in advance. Terms and conditions state that reservation of parking is not possible.
After returning to reception and showing the booking stated free parking I was informed there was a space after all.
My husband walked the mile back to retrieve the car. In the onsite car park a couple informed me they were staying at another hotel and had reserved and paid for a space via an app a few hours back.
Unacceptable arrangements and not a good start to our stay.
