Loved the room.
Enjoyed breakfast and the range of food on offer.
Appreciated the artwork around the building.
Good communication and easy check in.
Paper cups in the rooms for tea, coffee and water. It didn't seem to reflect the standard being aimed for and we would have preferred pottery cups and glasses.
People coming in and out of one of the doors adjacent to the room, from very early in the morning.
The fairground right across the road, which really downgraded the area.
We thought the the LED lights at the top of the breakfast room windows looked very cheap and not in keeping with the other artwork.

Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have it. The hotel was lovely, very clean and tastefully decorated. Nice big bathroom with walk in shower. Plenty of wardrobe space, coffee/tea machine. My bed was a little hard for my taste but my friend said his was perfect. Just opposite the canal and park - a 10-15 minute walk into the centre. Very nice and helpful staff.
