The period property is in a lovely, quiet location. The apartment was very spacious with a separate living area, bedroom and bathroom. The evening meal was excellent, and Wes and Willow were really friendly. Great value for money, free parking, and dog-friendly too.
The apartment was very hot when we first arrived, although it improved once the fans were on and the windows were opened. The continental breakfast was quite basic.

Quiet location, lovely small beer garden, with fist rate meals, well decorated and appointed room. Staff were very accommodation holding our luggage on the day of check out, whilst we explored the town.
Just one small point which was raised on check out, for a self catering room, insufficient cutlery for tow people and a tea towel to dry up cups etc. would have been beneficial, otherwise excellent stay

Our suite (the Thyme) was fantastic, so big and I love the separate upstairs. We ate in the restaurant, the food was very very good, I had the pork belly which had been cooked to perfection. Very friendly welcome and all the staff we spoke to were very helpful.
Nothing really - the stairs in the suite to the upstairs lounge area might be tricky if you're not particularly mobile, but were fine for us and our dog.
