The location of the hotel is quite good. You are situated a bit outside the busy Zell am See city center and close to the cable tracks leading up the mountains.
The rooms were all in all quite small. This is not i a huge problem but the price therefore is on the higher side. Although I do think that Zell am See is more expensive than the surrounding villages. Rooms are also very noisy. You can easily hear the neighbouring room talk, use the bathroom, hear the TV. I think isolation can definitely improve.

It is a pleasant facility with a traditional Austrian style and atmosphere.
It is marketed as ski-in/ski-out. While you can ski in, it is definitely not ski-out. The location therefore becomes a drawback, as it is not realistically walkable—especially with children.
In addition, as this is the last stop for the shuttle bus, it was consistently full when it arrived. On several occasions we had to wait up to 25 minutes, watching multiple buses pass without being able to board.
