The hotel could be considered as a “living art gallery”. There are a lot of experiences to be discovered.
Additionally, the food at the gourmet restaurant is exceptional. The staff there was great and pleasant. chapeau!
The reception staff did a poor job of interacting or communicating with us. There was little communication about there being a very big group of other guests who basically “privatized” the hotel (private concerts etc). We appreciated it in the end, but there was no communication. Feedback from us that the stay was “OK” was not followed up on, rather the credit card swiped. it’s the difference whether “your experience matters” or whether the job is just done. it is as simple as that.
The breakfast was passable or mediocre. We were at Manna Resort in the Bolzano region before who do show what a 5 star culinary experience ought to be (at a cheaper price). that’s the competition. if you factor out the art this hotel is not competitive in the luxury market.
the heating was turned off. we had to have a manual heater that did smell.
