It’s located close to Hoan Kiem lake and the old quarter. The breakfast spread was excellent and rooms were a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel rate is very fair.
Some renovations are needed as the rooms are looking a little tired and need some general repairs. Not unusable, just some updating and fixing or niggling items by high traffic use.

Warm, friendly staff who were keen to help all the time. Breakfast was included and very extensive, including fruit, yoghurt, salads and chicken pho.
It is an older building with the usual limitations e.g. only one small elevator. My premier double room was a very good size, plenty of space. King-sized bed was solid and sheets and towels were all good quality. Plumbing was a bit dodgy, but that’s to be expected in an old town property. It’s clear they are doing the best they can with the building. Room was cleaned every day. Complimentary car from the airport was a very nice bonus. The staff organized a car for me back to the airport on my final day, and it was both inexpensive and much higher quality than any of the higher cars I had been using in the city.

Great hotel in an excellent location, with easy access to basic services, restaurants, and the night markets. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to share helpful local information. Breakfast had plenty of variety, with a few items changing daily. I’d recommend upgrading your room for the extra space if possible. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

The staff were lovely.
When I requested to check out early they accommodated my request
When we got there they said they had upgraded us but the room they upgraded us to had a fault so they upgraded us again but then wanted to move us but down to a lower room the day after.
The lift doors kept shutting on us before we all got into the lifts.
The restaurant hallway is so narrow that someone opened the door and hit me when they walked up the stairs
