Amazing location, and a beautiful bedroom (and stunning breakfast room) just across the square from Basilica de Santa Croce, a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffuzi Galleries and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars.

Clean, cute, surprisedly good breakfast! Great location, was able to come back to the hotel multiple times throughout the day with ease.
A/C could be better but I understand it’s an old building. It was good enough to be comfortable:)

It’s very well situated just off Santa Croce but is very quiet and feels secluded.
We had arranged early check in and were given detailed instructions about how to gain access to the property but when we arrived at the agreed time the doors were locked and no one was there. The reception and emergency phone numbers given were not picking up. We had to take our bags back down into the city for an hour before we were contacted by WhatsApp. This is the second time we’d stayed and things didn’t go quite so well this time. The room and bed sheets smelled very strongly of a fabric deodoriser, rather than freshly laundered. Otherwise it was a nice traditional small hotel with everything you could need.
