Absolutely perfect stay at this lovely hotel nestled in Snowdonia national park. The staff were so lovely and friendly, and the breakfast was by far our favourite part of the day. They were also very kind and accommodating to our last minute late check in request due to traffic, and also provided us with extremely helpful instructions to find the hotel. The rooms were clean and bright, and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Wish we could have experienced the grounds a bit more during our stay but it was sadly pouring rain our whole trip! Also wish we could have stayed longer!
Driving up the steep hill was a bit nerve-wracking especially at night as it's one-way!

We enjoyed the environment surrounding the property. From our room (Room 1) both windows have distant mountain views. The common area has a glass roof sun room for reading and relaxing; there is also a cosy TV room.
The room was really small as there was no room to lay a suitcase opened on the floor. The ensuite bathroom was only about two square metres, once you sit on the toilet your knees could touch the wall. The drive way to this property was a shock to us visitors when we first arrived - there was only room for one car (cannot open car doors), to the point that pedestrians have to literally climb onto the stone fence on either sides to let the car through. If there is a car on the opposite directions, one of you will have to reverse to one of the 3 points (eg someone's driveway/front gate) closest to you so to make way for the other car. We understand this is one of the authentic experience for Wales. After 3 nights, we became experienced with this driveway and no doubt it was a memorable experience.

Breakfast was well presented and cooked to our preferences, staff were extremely helpful and Jane gave a comprehensive introduction on our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were quiet and comfortable,

Grounds are beautiful but place did not have a good feel to it . Bacon was overcooked and eggs not really cooked properly either morning . Just feel like it missed the mark.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable and I struggled to get my suitcase up the very narrow stairs and the door was so stiff to open that I struggled to drive home due to the pain in my back.
