Relaxing environment. The hotel was clean and tidy with spacious rooms with some nice extras like hotel water bottles for use throughout your holiday and sparkling wine on arrival in your room. Grounds were well kept. Food was good and varied. I liked that your pool towels were in your room in a bag ready to use. They were easily changeable at the end of the day.
Also, very little bagging of sun-beds! Hotel visibly discouraged this and it was generally respected.
Towels in the room were changed every evening so you had fresh for the morning.
Being able to book transfers via the hotel was excellent.
I didn’t like that not everything on the menu was all inclusive ie iced coffee, some cocktails and branded ice creams were chargeable as extras
I think, we may have been the only English family in the hotel during our stay, not a problem for us but maybe for others!
All inclusive option ends at 11.00am on the day you leave to have access to this costs an extra €10 per person if you are in a late flight home.

We loved our gorgeous beautifully designed room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was well designed with great water pressure. The food was excellent. We really appreciated that the coffee was freshly brewed and served at the table and not self service from a machine. Truly enjoyed the abundance of fresh fruit. And the amazing desserts. The food was never overly salted but instead wonderfully seasoned. The staff at the restaurant were outstanding. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the beautiful landscaping and plush cushions on all the loungers. Loved that the beach loungers were free!
Everything and everyone was simply marvelous.

The sea view room is genuinely beautiful — spacious, well-designed, and the views are stunning. The location on Kournas beach is hard to fault, and the bartenders and reception team were warm and helpful throughout. When our room had issues on arrival, the receptionist worked quickly to resolve them, which we appreciated.
The room arrived with multiple issues: a non-functioning key card, a leaking air conditioner that flooded overnight and damaged our belongings, and a broken TV. The open shower design meant the floor was constantly flooded. Cleaning service was minimal — beds only, no water replenished.
The spa was the worst part of our stay by far. It is almost impossible to find, the receptionist was absent on three separate visits during opening hours, and booking a massage took close to one hour due to constant technical failures. We paid €330 for a couples massage and the experience was deeply unprofessional: a poorly maintained, brightly lit room with no privacy, a superficial treatment, therapists laughing and chatting throughout, an unannounced intruder mid-session, and no proper conclusion to the treatment. Roughly 25 of the 75 minutes were lost to staff conversations.
Immediately after, we were pressured to leave a review on broken iPads before we could even get a glass of water. The next day the spa receptionist approached us on the beach, unprompted, to demand a review again.
When we raised all of this with the hotel manager Christos, he was dismissive, offered no apology, and told us the spa is an "external company" — before handing us an email address and walking away. No follow-up, no goodwill gesture, nothing.
The smiles here are warm but hollow. When something genuinely goes wrong, there is nobody willing to take responsibility.
