Lovely, bright, welcoming. Cool art on display throughout the lobby, hallways and rooms. Staff from reception to valet to housekeeping were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and seeking to make our stay very enjoyable. Loved the welcoming drink, turndown service, pastries and fruit delivered to our door each morning. coffee in the lobby and complimentary bikes with wicker baskets. We’ll be back!!
Room and bathrooms a teeny bit small but very comfortable.

The location was perfect, very close to the water. The sights and walking paths were incredible.
I retired after 53 years of working and booked a celebratory 5-day trip to Charleston to celebrate with my son; who lives there. On day 2, I was accused of smoking in the room when I was absolutely not guilty of doing so, which caused me high stress and anxiety for the rest of my stay. There are a lot of details to go with this, but this is the gist. After I checked out I still had to argue against the false cleaning charge when I finally won the battle and received an apology.
The room did, however, have a strong odor of mildew.
My milestone life event and celebration dreams were tainted by this experience. It was perfect in every other way but for the enclave attack on my integrity.
The Enclave would have exceeded my expectations if not for this. Even the mildew was acceptable since the location is smack dab in Charleston's flooding zone
