This hotel was fabulous, luxurious and opulent. Staff were very polite and helpful. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and the hotel acknowledged that with a note & bottle of wine. Thank you. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel. It’s one of the best hotels we have stayed in.
The only thing that was disappointing was the car parking charges. As we had a hire car we need to use the parking facility. The hotel parking was very expensive considering other parking charges in the city were half the price. Hotel prices were $42 cad plus tax per day. Other car parking was around $24-27 per day. So I would recommend parking next door in the paid car park. Don’t understand why the hotel want to over charge their guests so much.

The location was good.
The room was very cold even with the air conditioning on high temperature it took two days to warn the room up.
The hidden tip in the bar George was unacceptable.

We travel extensively. I have never stayed in a more beautiful hotel. The historic building has absolutely amazing woodworking and stained glass. I can’t say enough good things about the hotel.

The building was beautiful, Hotel staff were excellent
Room was underwhelming, my towels were fluffy but the inspection tags were still on, hence new towels, not laundered before putting in the room, attached Restaurant less than mediocre. Limited menu and underwhelming. The Bar, although “the place to be” Staff rude and service bad. Had to leave, still did not receive drinks. Overall I would not stay here again.
