Overall the hotel is chic and cool. It is an older building and has a lot of history - which my wife and I enjoyed learning about. I highly recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and a lot of amenities. We wanted to use the pool, but didn't have the time to.
There are some things that need serious updating - including, but not limited to the carpets in the hotel. They are old, and musty - and the building does give off a musty vibe. It didn't feel clean in that sense.

There could have been an extra towel bar in the bathroom. And the shower drained slowly.
