The decor, history of building, rooftop pool and bar. Gorgeous building!
Some areas close by are a bit sketchy at night. I did walk to places but definitely kept my guard up.

The hotel is well located, in the heart of the LA city, within walking distance to restaurants and to the Angels Flight, the world's shortest historic funicular. The room and bathroom are renovated beautifully, keeping the old style of the hotel intact. The cafe and breakfast was also wonderful, with very attentive staff.
We had a room on the second floor, which was super sensitive to the endless fire truck alarms and city noises. A recommendation from the staff to pick a higher floor would have been good.
