Breakfast. Location. In front of the beach. Pool and spa.
Breakfast time: only until 10:30am. Bar opening time, only until 11:30pm. Not possible to be in the inifinity pool after 6pm when dinner starts at restaurant. We were asked to leave and never informed about that rule during check in. Only paid parking with limited spots (3)

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was wonderfully located right on the beach. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. The room was very spacious the bed very comfortable and although the view was only a side sea view it was ok but next time we will book earlier and get a front sea view. The food in the restaurant was good and breakfast very good.
The location was very good with the town (very small) only a very short walk away with a couple of good restaurants.The great thing for us was how very very peaceful it was.
Very slight down side was that access to the sea was a walk away due to rocks just out side the hotel. The walk was only 50 yards and I suppose this did keep others front being in front of the hotel

What a wonderful place - wow just wow! Thank You so much for all your incredible kindness that made us both feel so welcome and at home from the moment we arrived Friday, a little tired from our delayed flight. After some delicious food in the incredible restaurant before closing and epic Pina Coladas with the gentle sound of the waves crashing right by the beach with the full moon rising we were swept away grinning ear to ear in no time. Popping along then to pick up our room keys....wow...what a room...magical...even after sunset. My wife had a little tear, it was that beautiful...thank you!!! Xxx
When stars left the morning and sleep clouds our view the dawnshow reveal blew us away...straight from our comfy bed -leave curtains open for this one...have never seen a dawn light show like this, colouring in the world from monochrome to the most excuisite turquoises of the sea and the swaying palm trees, the stretching sheltered curve of soft sandy beach and curious little rocky coves.
Breakfast was so peaceful & every bite an experience - with just the right mix of everything, so fresh and tasty...a special treat that we savoured at leisure with the wonderful staff so obliging, friendly and attentive to every detail - we were so lucky!
Popped down for a swim after - the water temperature in the beach is gorgeous at the moment - we brought a full face snorkle mask with us...the nearer you go to the rocky coves from the beach the more sealife you will see, even in the shallows...its very easy...no deep sea diving gear and boat needed, anyone could have a go. The water is so clear and unspoilt at Canyamel that you can spot them without the mask! After a swim we tried out the loungers by the beach which are cushioned and extremely comfy with huge pine trees kindly sheltering allowing you to reposition if you prefer a little less 30C sunshine on your face for a snooze among the happy birdsongs....Wonderful wonderful place. Cannot recommend enough!

Ran out of space in previous box...so continuing a little here....ours was a flying visit Friday-Sunday but if you have a car while you are there and fancy a little daytrip I recommend the Caves of Drach...26 minute spin from the hotel. You prebook a timeslot on the website, arrive with the other people that have the same timeslot and you all enter together quickly at that time. Its a cool spot....otherworldly....my Mum+Dad went to the Caves of Drach during their honeymoon in Majorca so I hear the name in my ears in my Dad's voice, God be Good to Him...for me that was special to visit and imagine my parents taking their first adventure steps together there all those years ago. Worth a look!

Great location literally in front of the sea. Beautiful views from the room, and if you like the sound of the waves, you'll get that 24/7. Bedding was exceptionally soft with bed and pillows super comfy. Breakfast was varied and delicious.
Pool is incredibly tiny. You could probably fit 2 people max in there just to sit.
Whilst reception staff are very friendly, the bar/restaurant staff are not at all.
The hotel restaurant is overly expensive for what they serve. You'll find better options within 3 minutes walk or next town.
Spa is pretty small - one jacuzzi that doesn't quite work, a small outdoor pool, steam room and dry sauna. You need to book a slot at the reception to use this facility. I don't recommend the massage.
