Great location, fun staff, nice room with cool enough AC to make ice cream if you wanted. Very secure with multiple card key check points. Right by the subway, many places to eat and the river.
The room was very small. Im almost always on a scuba liveaboard for a trip or camping so it was no big deal for me but fitting my two big bags in meant creativity. If you're someone who wants a lot of space and a big bed, eh....it was like a cute boat cabin.

Great location next to many restaurants and close by to tourist attractions. We were upgraded on arrival to a triple suite with a lovely balcony overlooking the river. Room was clean and staff were friendly.
Air-con could have been a bit cooler, however, we did visit during an extreme heatwave!

The receptionist that helped me most of the time really made my stay, If I don’t remember wrong his name was Eduardo. He was always very smiley and kind. Other than that my room was pretty clean, bed was very comfortable, air conditioning worked good and location is really good. I really enjoyed my stay in Berlin and would totally recommend Hotel Neuer Fritz to anyone who is looking for budget friendly accommodation.

The suite had a balcony that overlooked the Spree and the tower. Location was great, very central. The attached Italian restaurant was great for evening meals and good value, though the breakfast did not feel like value. The room was very spacious.
The beds were uncomfortable, very hard, and the room wasn't very clean. Thick dust on the headboards. The daily clean may have included bed making, hoovering, emptying of bins and replenishing the coffee, but throughout the week this was hit and miss. One day the the bin was emptied, the next the bed was made but never everything on the same day. The had floor surfaces were never mopped and the staircase leading to the suites were never hoovered in the week we were there.
