Positive that wasn't expected - The size of the rooms with the separate bedroom and the washing machine/dryer.
Negative - I found the pillows very soft. The filler was a little lumpy and unsupportive due to it being so soft.

The location is great - only 10 mins walk from central station. The staff have great service attitude. If you like things to be handled as streamlined as possible, this hotel did a good job in giving an online registration form for you to fill in prior to arrival. Hence the check-in process can be cut down to 5 mins. The room we stay has a washing machine which is hard to find in Berlin.
The rooms look old - it has carpet on the floor which looks dirty. The shower room door in the main bedroom was broken when we checked in. I asked them to fix it on the next day and they did. The water pressure is the killing issue - I barely felt water running in my body when I took shower. The pillows are way too soft.
