loved the room besides non functioning AC, French restaurant, the grill restaurant. excellent 80's music by the pool. great beach, walking distance to town, most of the staff is nice. overall, excellent energy, wd consider coming again. excellent chilled red wine. overall staff lets you be, isn;t hovering micro managing and the energy is outstanding, loved it and may come again. hope they work on the suggested improvements. Xfinity pool. suggest lunch able served at beach w plastic plates. wd suggest beach stairs be swept of sand more often, suggest wifi work on lounge chairs further out. the beach has a life guard. the people ar the beach are very nice. great mattress, slept well. good sheets. excellent room lavazza coffee choice. the coffee cups in Alta are good and liked the access to go cups too. espresso machine wd improve for the cappuccino but overall, not bad. coffee in room tasted better. elevator wait time was almost aways not long. guests and staff are nice. the driver Sergio they connected us with for airport shuttle (extra price) was very nice, professional and punctual. infinity pool felt clean and good temperature. beach water was clean, barely seaweed.
nachos & overall same lunch by pool. no fruit or salad & very little guac provided. lunch menu didn't change & was overall very carnivorous, greasy. basic green salad & fruit wd be a simple basic addition. sun glasses were lost at very specific time and location on premise, hotel insurance sh help.when asked,staff very short to say no as if they were found and kept.6pm beach drink server sh tell people at 5:50pm last call. plastic cups provided on beach didn't keep drinks cool. wd reco offer in a dif vessel. it wd maximize beverages as people were ordering bec their drink got warm not bec it was necessarily empty. main buffet really needs help. very long line at omelette station, only one person making each order at a time vs 2 people or 1 person gathering sev orders at a time. U don't cook mix meat pork on the same grill with rest. you don't cook mix meat w/ veggies for vegetarians. wd recommend ice cream and sorbet as a dessert option.rm mini fridge didn't offer any non sugar beverages like sparkling water or juice only reg &diet soda.unless called, it wasn't;t autofilled. great water refill station but there sh be 1 on each floor than only in altitude lobby, not practical or sufficient considering size of place and number of people. huge pb, a/c didn't work all week despite informing its' non function. only able to use fan all week.buffet denied eating outside when that's precisely why people fly to Cancun to do such.3 other restaurants don't have outdoor seating. I'd work on adding this since fresh air is important. 1 staff person denied us two people a table due to non reserv but restaurant almost empty.I think she and staff didn't want to work.wd suggest better train servers,sh not ask group to remove &use same forks and knifes if already mixed together on same dirty plates. all requests sh be possible via WhatsApp.

Location is prime, fabulous beach, majority of staff nice, clean, great adult pool.
Running out of stuff, eg bacon, ice cream
Ice cream only open 1pm to 5pm if its available
Really noisey pool that isnt too big for amount of guests
AC in rear rooms is poor, but ocean front is great

We had an amazing stay! The service was excellent from start to finish. A special thank you to Mariana and Paola at the front desk, they were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. They assisted us with changing our room and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Their care and attention really made a difference.
The first room we were assigned was quite noisy. We would kindly suggest checking the room doors to ensure they close tightly and provide better sound insulation, as noise from neighboring rooms can be disruptive. We appreciated that the staff quickly helped us change rooms, which greatly improved our stay.
