This was my second stay at Seevilla Freiberg, and for me it is still one of the best hotels in Zell am See. The biggest highlight is the direct access to the lake and the beautiful view right outside the room. Our room was on the lower level close to reception, with no stairs to deal with, which was especially helpful because I was traveling with elderly family members with mobility difficulties. Although a few trees partly blocked the full lake view compared with my previous stay, it was still beautiful and peaceful.
The room had a fridge, hairdryer, bathrobes, TV, a sofa bed nicely prepared for sleeping, and a fan, and there was a screen on the door/window to help keep insects and spiders out.
The hotel provides both the Zell am See-Kaprun Mobility Card and the Sommerkarte, which is a huge advantage and can save a lot on transportation, cable cars, boat trips, and other attractions.
The biggest compliment goes to Renata at reception. She was exceptionally welcoming, kind, helpful, and genuinely caring toward my family. She showed us the room, made sure we had what we needed, and was very helpful with local information and practical matters. She really made the stay feel personal and memorable.
I only wish we had been able to stay longer, because with a few more days we could have enjoyed the Sommerkarte much more. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.
The room was a little small for all of us (3 adults) and the hotel is slightly farther from the center. There is no swimming pool, so swimming depends on the lake, which can be cold. Since we checked in on my family member’s birthday, a small complimentary birthday gesture or cake would also have been a lovely extra touch. Overall, though, this was still a 10/10 stay for me.

The location. Right on the lake, a wonderful view with plenty of room to lie or sit by the lake and relax or swim. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. Our room was very spacious with a wonderful balcony which we enjoyed. The room was spotlessly clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels and items.
The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced with plenty of choice and a good amount of time to have breakfast without feeling rushed. The restaurant staff were pleasant and hard working, ensuring everyone had what they needed and replenishing items.
Check in and out processes were easy and the staff provided plenty of information and suggestions.
Fiirmer pillows would have been helpful, and trying to get in and out of the bath to use the shower was difficult as it was so slippy. Also, some additional English TV channels would have been welcome as we only had access to 2 news channels.

Beautifully located by the sea, wonderful view from the room. Great breakfast and excellent to have the Summer Card included.
Staff could have been more helpful and the reception was not always manned. We mentioned a broke safe twice but it was still not fixed.
