Exceptional service ⭐️

My recent stay at this Istanbul hotel surpassed all expectations for a mid-range accommodation in Turkey. The service was impeccable, with the check-in desk open for late arrivals and the rooms equipped with all necessities, from slippers to toiletries. The breakfast was a step above the typical Turkish fare, featuring fresh pastries and a whole honeycomb. Upon check-out, the staff surprised me with a small branded gift—a sweet touch that ensured I'll be returning to this exceptional hotel again:) Highly recommended for stay in the city center of Istanbul.

Buena ubicación, servicio muy amable y atento

La ubicación excelente en el centro histórico de Estambul y la limpieza del hotel. Buen desayuno, rico y variado. Opciones vegetarianas.

Un poco ‘caro’ para ser un hotel normal que ofrece el servicio de dormir y desayuno. Hotel ruidoso al estar al lado justo del tranvía.

It’s worth the price and the stay.

The staff was very kind and helpful, they gave me all the tips and advice to explore Istanbul. Big thanks to Enver who helped me and guided me during my stay at the hotel. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed everyday if needed. The location is absolutely perfect, you have access to Marmaray station or other tramways with less than 5min walk

The location is excellent, and the hotel is great for those who are not picky about the size of the rooms.

location and Russian-speaking staff (in particular, a guy from Turkmenistan). staff overall are the best part of the hotel - very welcoming and courteous

rooms are very small, unfortunately, and outdated.

Highly Recommend

This is my second time staying here and I love it. The hotel is located in a really good area with easy access to the major attractions. The room is clean and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Adnaan Black Tulip review

Great breakfast and friendly staff... nice boutique hotel close to Sophia hagia, blue mosque, and walking distance to grand bazaar. Strong wifi and hotel situated right on the tram line. Strongly recommend for future travelers.

Rooms are quite small but we were picked that up from previous reviews.

A welcoming stay in a great location

The staff that looked after us were really accommodating. Especially Fauon and Mohamed at the front of house. Breakfast was also exceptional.

Best location near Gülhane tram station,the beds are so comfortable,clean and friendly

The best hotel in Istanbul

This was the best stay i could imagine. The hotel has perfect location. Very close to Hagia Sophia mosque and Blue mosque. 10 minutes by walk and you are on Eminonu. The location is great. Also many restaurants near the hotel. Personal is great. So many kind people always greeting you. Breafast are delicious with many options from salt to sweet food. Really kind surprise was once in the evening we were surprised with a plate full of fruits. If you are looking for a good hotel THIS IS IT!!! Thank you for having us.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of the old part of Istanbul

We have already stayed in several hotels in Istanbul, but the Black Tulip Hotel is really great. It is even better than we expected. It's on a great location, just a few steps from the T1-Gulhane tram stop, in the city center. The breakfast is great, and so is the breakfast room. We got a better room than we paid for. They made us happy with a gift during the vacation, and they also gifted us at the end. All the staff are very friendly, they cater to every little wish. When we returned tired from the city, we were treated to tea and biscuits. Thx... Mr. Enver and Mr. Fuad were particularly kind and attentive to us. We will definitely return to this hotel.

I have not the slightest comment.

Everything was great, the most polite stuff and they went beyond to help us....Everything was amazing. There room was good (the bathroom was little too small) and it was clean and smells good, the location is not easy to find if you don't know your way around. Overall I recommend the hotel.

It was very clean and in perfect place, near a lot of monuments! The people that are working there are very helpful and kind! They have turkish breakfast!

The rooms are small and they do not provide a lot of facilities. They do not evwn have a restaurant.

Hospiyality of the staff was out of this planet. Both my boyfriend and I were amazed by the kindness and help from everyone in the hotel. Hotel is 5min walking distance from Hagia Sofia and other important monuments, as well as 1min from the train station. Breakfast was extraordinary, they have both salty and sweet options, unlimited juices, coffee, tea etc. For the price we paid, we did not expect this much quality in every segment!

The only flaw of the property is the noise from the outside. Since the hotel is in front of the train station, the traffic is very heavy and loud, but for us it was not a problem at all. After a full day walking, you fall asleep as soon as you touch the pillow :)

Excellent service, very friendly staff and a great location.

The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in Fatih and it’s very close to the Mosques and Grand Bazaar (10 mins walk). There is a Tram station right in front of the hotel, so it’s very easy to use Public Transportation.

The staff members were really nice and professional. They made our stay memorable. The hotel is located in old city centre, near all main historical sites. Room was clean to perfection.

The hotel is placed on one of the most busy streets in old town of Istanbul. Tram goes just under your room window. Not recommended if you are trying to sleep during the day or earlier in the evening.

Loved it and it added to my overall great Istanbul experience :)

One of the best places I've stayed in Istanbul. Extremely clean hotel, with great wi-fi, exceptional (and diversified) freshly cooked breakfast, all the staff eager to help with all aspects, and overall marvellous value over money paid. It's in a very central area, close to all the touristy attractions, the tram station 50m away, and my room was quiet and big enough considering my expectations. Veeery comfy beds! :) All you could wish for, and more. P.S. Do yourself a favour and "splurge" on the airport transfer - it's well worth it, considering Istanbul's hectic traffic and the distance from the airport.

The bathroom can be a little cramped, but unless you sleep there :)), you'll be fine. One of the rooms (we booked two) had some problems with water not flushing - and it was promptly dealt with. Not an amazing view from my windows, but the room was quiet because it wasn't facing the buzzing street.

One of the best accommodations in Istanbul, very close to restaurants and iconic places, and yet I found it to be a very quiet and pleasant stay; great personal staff, the best, they were very friendly, nice room size and shower. Overall a highly recommended stay.

The wifi, had it shortcomings, that was the only issue I ran into.
