Overpriced for what it is, but the location and the friendliness of the staff was a bonus.

Good size rooms. Great location Some of your staff were very good at their job and should be commended.

Aircon not great. In fact below average given how hot the rooms on the West side become in the afternoon. Staff bursting into rooms when there is a 'do not disturb' sign on the room door is unacceptable. Having a pet policy and not allowing a cat is absurd. Other 5 star hotels allow both. Rooms and Hotel are very tired and need a revamp Breakfast was inedible.

Great

Great in every aspect. Views, comfy pillows and bed, many places to eat etc etc. Great vibe and theme in room. Extra touches like a midnight goody bag.

A cockeroach...but I learnt after they like clean places. So they probably just need to get it sprayed. Valet parking sucks...

The bathroom let an otherwise terrific hotel down.

This hotel is in a fantastic location and has lots of character.

The bathroom was unusable. Our booking said "This room includes a 27-inch flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station and a modern bathroom with a shower." In fact, the shower was in a very high bathtub and was almost impossible to get in and out of safely. My partner was forced to sponge bath two days in a row because the shower was so dangerous. Completely unacceptable.

Great stay in Ovolo would highly recommend

Overlooking the water with lots of cafes nearby and great restaurants. Would recommend if working in the city or surry hills area as it is easy to get into Very relaxing and private. The mini bar also provided non alcoholic options which I thought was great

It is quite pricey, but thats what you should expect in the area and of the surrounding restaurants etc. Still a great place to stay and feel treated.

Fantastic stay. Keen to do it again soon.

Love the room set up, the freebies, the bed and bathrooms. The room was bigger than I expected and everything was immaculately clean and tidy. The location is amazing and we enjoyed the botanical gardens and having dinner in Potts Point multiple times. The 11am check out time is so good. It just gives you more time to enjoy the morning then come back and pack and leave.

The parking was difficult - Welcome to Sydney! The staff member was trying to be helpful by giving me an option other than valet at the hotel. The valet at the hotel was $95/day I think, but if I had booked valet earlier, it would have been $75. That was never made obvious beforehand when making my booking (it might have been in the fine print. I'm not sure). Also, when we checked out, we thought we would eat at Alibi (the hotel restaurant). We stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign for a long time. Staff walked past multiple times. I could see staff scrubbing things and going about their business but no-one came and spoke to us. In the end, I went down to the person who was scrubbing and asked if they were open. She said no. It would have been nice for someone to let us know that earlier instead of just walking past while we were just standing there looking expectant.

Great value for where the hotel is and very unique.

Location and facilities.

Damp smell that didn’t go away and there were some old stains on the walls that didn’t look very hygienic.

The hotel is very modern, quirky and you can get to Ottos restaurant without walking outside in the rain. oh and the breakfasts were excellent.

!I thought the bathroom floor in Room No. 526 looked a little tired, but the bathtub was lovely

Nice stay at Ovolo Woolloomooloo

The staff were so lovely. The bed and pillows were so damn comfy! The temperature in the room was bliss. As the little snack bag and free mini bar. Great tv . Great view over the water. Great blinds.

Humid as hell outside of your hotel room. The interior design was a bit tack-o-rama. Bit of mould in the shower. Wanted some food on room service other than vegan, but was nice to see vegan. Probably 4 star hotel. Definitely not 5 star. The noise of doof doof music was a bit loud and vibrating into my room on level 3 , when I just wanted to sleep at 10.30pm .. but it was a Friday night... Went on till 11pm a bit annoying. The price was excessive of what it was.

History to Modern Hotel

The hotel was trendy, modern, but in a space of history. The room was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Little perks we appreciated was the music playing when we checked in with free snacks and a full mini bar that was restocked everyday for us. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the Opera House through the wharf marina and the Sydney Botanical gardens.

Nothing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Saw a different “side” of Sydney.

Location on the water. Range of restaurants outside. Fun atmosphere but still professional. great view from our window.

Breakfast was vegan so we did not heck this out.

Falls short of truly fabulous but a good hotel.

Loved the location and the preserved industrial features of the building. Had a few nights catching up with a friend and the spaciousness of the x2 double bed room meant we could comfortably hang out in between scooting around town with an interesting view and fun interior design. The bath was huge in the well appointed bathroom, products were OK. Checked out pool, a good size but tricky to find, it opens to outdoor area which isn't obvious from pics. Complimentary sweet bar in lobby and interesting art, great lighting.

The bathroom was lacking an extractor fan and annoyingly, no interior light switch to use at night so as not to disturb my guest. The much touted 'free minibar' was not overly generous; 1 beer, 2 x mini wines & no spirits but was restocked each day and the low alcohol wine was nice. I requested a teapot in the room which did not materialise. The rather expensive buffet breakfast at Alibi was nice but hot food was cold every day and on my final morning a server kept repeating a question louder and louder to a gentleman who clearly did not understand English. Alibi bar closes too early for nightcap.

Fantastic hotel with lots of extras included. We would love to visit again.

The breakfast was outstanding! We also enjoyed the wharf location.

The property does not offer rooms for a family of 4. We had to book 2 rooms.
