hotel v kompletní rekonstrukci

Nemohlo se nám nic líbit, jelikož hotel je v rekonstrukci. Booking.com nevěděl??? Což bylo nepříjemné i s rezervovaným taxíkem přes Booking.com, kde nebyli schopni rezervaci změnit. V každém případě, nějaký místní pán ze Saphirru nás zavedl do náhradního ubytování a to bylo naprosto vynikající - hotel Maywood.

Hotel v kompletní rekonstrukci, nemožnost se ubytovat, neinfomovanost ze strany Booking.com, neschopnost Booking.com zajistit přesměrování taxi k náhradnímu hotelu. Zařídil až repepční náhradního hotelu Maywook, který byl velmi schopný!

Das Partner Hotel wo wir hinverfrachtet wurden, war ok. Aber scheinbar waren sie nicht in der Lage die Hotelzimmer Karte

An der Unterkunft hat uns nichts gefallen, da sie uns bei Ankunft direkt in ein Partner Hotel weitergeleitet haben. Das gesamte Hotel war eine Baustelle von der sie uns scheinbar bis zum einchecken nicht Informieren wollten.

Das es garnicht das Hotel war was wir gebucht haben zum Beispiel!

I wish I could have stayed longer. I loved Sapphire Hotel. I will go back one day🤗

All the staff were friendly and helpful especially being able to communicate in English. The location was perfect. All the main attractions were within walking distance. The Gulhane tram stop was around the corner.

The cups in the room were to small for me. Next time I’ll take my own mug

Perfect location

Easy access to metro and all public transport. Easy to get to most tourist attractions. Location is good.

Not many options in breakfast. Mattress really uncomfortable. Complained many times but nothing changed.

Above and beyond service

First time in Istanbul and I did a lot of research to find a hotel. It lived up to all of my expectations. Location was excellent. I quite often sat out the front and just watched other people and chatted to staff who brought me a free chai and had a chat. I pretty much stayed around this area for dinner and drinks as there a lot of great restaurants and bars. They always treated me with respect and a smile.

Great value for a hotel in this area. Very friendly and efficient service.

Nice hotel, right in the centre of the tourist area. 10 minutes walk from Topkapi palace and Mosques in the area. Hotel, whilst a little worn, was clean and we all enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was reasonable for the price, although nothing special. Definitely a place to stay for easy access to the local tourist hotspots and the city in general.

A little noisy if your bedroom is on the street side, but in this area that is to be expected.

Great hotel with the best location and very friendly staff!

I stayed in this hotel with my mom for 5 nights and it was amazing. The location is the best - 5 min walk to Topkapi, Hagia Sophia and other historical sights, and 15 min to Grand Bazar. Also the tram station is less then 3 min. The street is very cute and charming. The staff was nice and super helpful - they gave us a room on the 6th floor, with Bosphorus views (you can see the bridge connecting Asian side with Beyoglu). They also helped us get the Istanbul transportation card and answered all the questions we had about exploring the city. The room was clean, they provided towels, bath robes and slippers. The staff cleaned our room and changed towels daily. Everyone was super friendly and in the end of our stay they gave us a little gift - box of Turkish delight and some apple tea with adorable traditional glasses and spoons. All in all, our stay was fantastic and we will come back to this hotel!

Perfect position for central Istanbul.

Highly reccommended! Amazing hotel!

We had an amazing time in Istanbul and the staff at the Hotel Sapphire played a big role in this positive experience. The staff was polite, friendly and ready to help with everything we needed making us feel welcomed. The hotel is ideally located near Gulhane tramway stop and at a walking distance from Sultanahmet! What is more the area around the hotel is full of restaurants and cafes and is very lively. The hotel was sparkling clean. Overall an amazing experience. We are definitely staying here the next time we visit Istanbul.

Photos 20 years old. Not 4 star. Nil maintenance. Very run down. Lifts continually breaking down. Noisy air-conditioning. Breakfast 2 star quality. Staff smoking all the time

This hotel was built in 1963 and obviously, no major renovation has been done.

When I searched for the hotel, I saw that the reviews of this hotel are good. Therefore, we booked this hotel, but some of the reviews mentioned problems such as bad drainage in the bathroom and the unfavorable conditions of the surfaces on different floors, when I asked about these reviews a person named Mustafa asked me why I only read bad reviews, which are few in number? Two days later, the hotel money was withdrawn from my account, and according to the conditions of booking.com, we had to pay at the time of entering the hotel. The day we arrived at the hotel, they gave us the rooms on the second floor before check-in time. As soon as we entered the rooms, we encountered a very bad smell, and I also checked the bathroom drain and realized that the water was not draining. We immediately evacuated the rooms and informed the hotel reception that the rooms are not habitable at all. Finally, at 3:30 in the afternoon, they gave us rooms on the sixth floor, which I have attached photos of. The next morning, we went for breakfast, and we encountered food that was smelly with horrible taste because they had been serving them for several days. One of the guests ate some scrambled eggs and insisted to one of the hotel staff eat them, and after eating, they realized that all the dishes were spoiled. Please see the attached photos. You can see that the emergency stairs were without electricity and turned off. It is better if you burn your money than to stay in this hotel. Everywhere in the hotel smells bad. Don't be fooled by many reviews, most of them are probably written by the hotel's own people. I would never recommend it to anyone.
