Great location, but initial reception was very lacking - will look elsewhere next time.

It was under renovation and there was no mention of this on the website. If you were an early riser it really didn’t affect you as much, but the hammering began around 9 a.m. and was very disruptive. Arrived around 6 pm to check in and the initial impression of the staff was they didn’t want to help you. There reception desk is divided and the first line we got into the receptionist keep sending everyone to the other side when there was only 1 group of people in line. And the manner they spoke to everyone was disrespectful. Really began questioning how my stay was going to be.

We wouldn't have picked this hotel if we would've know about the renovations!

The staff was great.

There was a ton of renovations going on, coffee shop was closed, and when we went to the 4pm Mojito tasting the bartender told use we were too late and missed it, got to the bar at 4:03 p.m.

Location was great but not a good value for the high price.

We have a huge list of complaints about the property, including the fact we were never advised there was construction, and as a result, and it was noisy. there was no gym/fitness center. And We also had many room issues including broken,showerhead, broken windows shade slats, and drape sliders broken as well. We left early due to these problems and others and despite the fact there was no resolution we still had to pay a penalty.

I feel ripped off.

Location

Check in clerk was very nasty, s rude and acted like she hated her job. I booked with booking.com and was supposed to have breakfast included and I was charge all three days for breakfast. And 30 dollars a person. Are they crazy. 30 for breakfast and not good brreakfast. Cold eggs, soggy bacon and hard french toast. The hotel was under construction and was a mess.

My stay at Crowne Plaza La Concha was marred by unexpected renovations, water shut-offs that forced

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza La Concha and faced unexpected challenges that significantly impacted my stay. Upon arrival, I was surprised to learn that the hotel was under renovation, including a water shutdown from 10 pm to 2 am. This information was not provided at the time of booking, and I was forced to purchase bottled water to wash up due to the water shut off. The first room I was assigned had an unpleasant odor, leading me to request a move. The second room, while free from the initial issue, was smaller and still carried a lingering smell. I appreciate the hotel's effort to waive the penalty for my early departure after discussing the situation with the management. However, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. The management did offer a discount for a future stay, reflecting a willingness to make amends, but I believe the situation could have been handled more effectively from the beginning. For future guests, I recommend inquiring about any ongoing renovations or potential disturbances ahead of time to ensure a comfortable stay. And perhaps carry bottled water, just in case.

it was just "okay"

location was perfect if you wanted to enjoy Duvall Street and the beach was not a far walk

too much "fine print" starbucks was no longer in the building, the restaurant was closed, the spa was closed and the hotel was under construction. Hard to justify such a high room price with no amenities to speak of. Plus being put in a front facing room meant that you heard all the noise outside on Duvall Street

Overall, nice experience

The staff was wonderful and very clean, and comfy beds! The location is perfect as it is right on the main strip of Duval St! You can venture to the rooftop and see all of Key West as well!

The price wasnt as competitive as I would have liked, however, this is mainly due to the location! The pool is very small and not so kid friendly as I would have liked, but the pool bar is nice!

Exceptional

We’ve been there before. First time we had a nice room. Very quiet. The room this time was smaller and darker. Still fine just not as Nice. We like how close it is to old town attractions and sites. Lobby is always open and nice.

The construction was loud in the rooms. We were out on the go in the daytime. But late evening it was pretty loud. We were out of water for a few hours. I’d suggest opening up all the elevators also. Usually one was off or not working.

Disappointing

The location was perfect. Within walking distance to all the attractions we wanted to see. It had lots of parking. Loved the complementary rum punch. Tiffany was very helpful with an elevator issue. The front desk was helpful and had our room ready early.

There was construction in progress, with extremely loud jackhammering. It went on for most of the afternoon. Earplugs were provided, but that's not how I wanted to spend vacation. The tile on the shower floor was slippery and could have been dangerous. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room. The room had a nice balcony, which was fun to watch the activity on Duvall Street. It was very loud late into the night. The room was expensive and I don't think it was worth it.

My request for a fatherless pillow was never met...when I checked in and two days after that. Was assured I would get it by EVERY person I spoke with...so no pillows for me for 3 nights

Will stay here again.

You absolutely cannot beat the location and the history of this property. We found staff helpful and accommodating. We visit Key West annually and always stay at another resort, but I really wanted to be on Duval St this time. Concierge was friendly and helpful. Overnight staff was amazing when our door was mysteriously locked from the inside (we're blaming a ghost lol) We left our room around 10am and didn't return until around 11:30 that night - got our key card out and opened the door to find the hotel door latch closed only allowing us to open the door approx. 2-3 inches. It's still a mystery how this happened as no one else was in our room except housekeeping! Long story short, the overnight agent and security guard ended up ripping the lock off the door so we could gain access after a long, hot day. They also refunded our resort fee for the trouble. I would definitely recommend this property.

Pricey but to be expected for Key West. Also, got locked out of our room for approx. 1 hour after long day of exploring but staff were friendly and helpful.

Fun time in the heart of Key West's old town.

We liked the hotel location and ease of access to the hotel's parking lot. Room was comfortable. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

I wouldn’t stay there ever again

it was close to the main restaurant and bars

way way to small. couldn’t even walk In the room and have clearance pathway With my girl friend ..very uncomfortable, very very tight . asked front desk if I can get a room upgrade for 2 days but I was told wasn’t possible. it left me very sad

So many great things about this property, location, staff, parking, we have stayed many times before but things are wearing out and becoming dated. Pool area is due for an overhaul as are the rooms. Starting to look dingy, nothing has been updated in years. Lobby still looks fabulous and welcoming. I hope they invest in some improvements.
