Our visit to Malvern was helped by having a comfortable place to stay, that was close to town and all the eateries avail

The property was warm and cosy to come back to every day. The beds were comfortable giving a great nights sleep. The kitchen was well appointed, although we did not cook, just used for tea and coffee.

Approach was a bit dark when returning late at night, a light above the door would have helped.

It worked for us

The space and simplicity. We had everything we needed. It worked well as a place to rest and relax.

There was some misunderstanding over the parking Some items needed repair.

I can't but this has nothing to do with the flat. We were there to attend my brother's funeral.

The location was excellent - close to Malvern centre and close to railway station.

There was no host onsite. We managed everything by phone but it would have been nice to see someone face to face. There was no teapot! Electric fan in bathroom was extremely loud. Furniture was a bit minimal.

Practical stay, good facilities. Poor booking process and check-in 'experience'

Location was good for me. Wifi was fast and v decent smart TV. Kitchen reasonably well equipped. Bathroom and bedroom clean.

The booking process generally was poor; awkward and inconvenient (signing forms and ‘security deposit’ etc to get key code). However, the check-in process itself was a nightmare - easily the worst I've ever experienced in years of staying away from home for work. The photograph showing the location of the key box is WRONG. This shows the letterbox and key box for no 9. The key box is not the usual sort mounted to a wall, but looks like some kind of bike lock, casually tossed at the bottom of the railings. I struggled to find the key box as the security light stayed on only for about 5 seconds at a time. In the dark it was awkward to use. Using my phone light, it took me 20 minutes to get into. Good job it was not raining or I would have given up. Seriously, the instructions need to be MUCH clearer, accurate and helpful (e.g.. what the key box looks like and how to actually open it, bring a torch). General décor is ‘minimal and practical’ – bare walls, wooden bench, cheap furnishings, just a main lighting (no corner lamps). Ok if that’s your thing but I found it soulless if not actually depressing. Bathroom and bedroom were clean. Many surfaces felt greasy to me.

Theatre weekend get away

Superb location for centre of Great Malvern and the theatres. Spacious. Clean. Well equipped. Check in as described.

kitchen well equipped. enough towels. short walk to town centre. tv all channels needed to watch World Cup football…

practical above comfort. dark living room and lamps white bright or too little yellow. blinds better be closed for privacy. some construction and broken houses on the parking lot unpleasant. an Airbnb experience with keys hidden in boxes with codes - address unknown until last moment when you need to make a deposit to get last directions. my suitcase was not delivered and it’s a hassle if you cannot give the address to the airline to deliver the suitcase to you.

Initially unimpressed as looked like bedsits in a building site then realised apartment was around corner: should make it clear on details exactly where apartment was. Lack of outside lights in car park and key box floor level. Difficult to get too and from car park in dark and even harder to get key out.

It was satisfactory but expensive.

No breakfast provided - just some sachets of coffee, milk and sugar, nothing fresh. The location was very good, with only a short walk into town. Facilities were fine, basic, not deluxe.

The apartment was rather dark and there was no outdoor space. Some kitchen paper, a teapot and some disinfectant could have been provided. An inventory would have been useful. The booking procedure could be less tortuous. The price was excessive, perhaps because the RHS garden festival was on.

The boiler in the wardrobe in the back bedroom was quite noisy and made sleeping a little difficult.

Myself and family had a lovely stay and look forward to going back again. Would defiantly recommend

The location was excellent and the parking great. The apartment was very clean and very spacious. We all slept extremely well and will definitly be booking again!

The can opener didn't work and maybe a few more serving dishes or larger dishes for pasta etc. Also maybe a couple of hooks in the bathroom or on the back of bedroom doors for dressing gowns. But these are very small things and didn't take away from the great stay and facilities!

Pleasant

The position to the Malverns hills was super.

The brief said there was a coffee machine and dish washer but found neither. The kitchen floor was sticky when we arrived and needed washing Only 4 wine glasses and one odd one for 6 people. Also 4 dessert bowls and 2 cereal bowls. Crockery we found limited. Also the heating went off at 10 pm on Saturday night so Sunday morning cold and no hot water.

Very good

Location was great and very quiet. Very close to amenities. The apartment was beautifully presented and clean with good facilities including private parking and well equipped.

Unexpected £200 damages deposit a few days before our arrival and a full page of additional charges which made us as guests feel nervous about using kitchenware and conscious of accidental spillages. This was followed by an email at 12pm on the night before our departure further requesting all washing up to be done and bins emptied, at the same time requesting a 5* review. I appreciate that not all guests leave the property in a good condition but we do, so felt that this was an overkill on top of the deposit and the list that was left.

Malvern Autumn Festival Stay

The property was clean, easy to find and access and had excellent facilities. It was really close to the Three Counties Showground which was why we were there. Would use again.

Too cold. Didn't know how to set the heating. Had a bit of trouble finding the place. GPS was inaccurate. A passerby helped us.

Excellent location for walking in the hills. The property has its own parking and all the basic facilities for preparing your own meals etc

Found it very dark inside with not very bright lighting, even with the reading lamp. My friend said it would benefit from a plug in razor socket in the bathroom.
