This hotel is so lovely. The location is perfect for exploring the Citta Alta. The staff were so friendly, one of them even jumped in the car with my partner to show him where to park when we arrived. We enjoyed a welcome drink out the front and the breakfast was nice. The room was clean, well-decorated and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Bergamo.

Great location within easy walking distance of the old town, with the funicular up to the castle right outside. Being able to reserve a parking space was also a big plus after a long day’s driving. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a one-night stay, although the see-through glass shower compartment is certainly an unusual design choice! Thankfully, the glass doors to the toilet were more opaque. Breakfast was good, with meats and cheeses alongside a large selection of pastries and other sweet options. We booked two rooms here partly because it was one of the few hotels in the area that offered a twin room for our two sons. Unfortunately, when we arrived their room had been configured as a double despite having requested two single beds, which was our only real disappointment. Their top-floor room was the nicer of the two, but we enjoyed our stay and would return.
