Lovely hotel in the old town
Set of stairs up from the road to get to reception. Then the lift.

Second stay here at this wonderful hotel! A rare find, right beside the main square Piazza Vecchia in Citta Alta. Restaurants, bars, shops right outside the entrance. Location couldn’t be better. Room was very comfortable, good bathroom, dressing gown, daily water, aircon, & super breakfast! Staff were really friendly. We got local bus to & from Bergamo & airport, €3, & 5-10 min walk from bus stop.
Nothing! So much so, I returned after last year’s overnight stay!

Excellent location, great people at reception, very supportive. Good breakfast - everything in a nice atmosphere and fantastic building
We had a room to the street. Which was a bit noisy, but hey- it’s an Italian old town.

The location of this hotel sold it to us. Considering it is right in the heart of the old city, it was very peaceful. The aircon worked well during our very hot stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The garage parking was very straightforward and not that far to walk from. This historic building has very steep steps from the entrance to the reception area but there is a chairlift for those in need.
