Iconic hotel! I’ve been to KV maybe 20 times and this was my first time staying in this hotel. I understand why it’s so popular, it has a little bit of everything. The outdoor pools are the best part of this hotel ofc. I also got a very nice room with an incredible view at the 11th floor. I had a very nice stay.
I just didn’t like that you had to pay 200 czk extra to stay for more than 2 hours in the outdoors pools. Like, can you just add these 200 czk in the total price for hotel guests and not deal with this? It was a bit nonsense, cheapened the experience to me. It went from being a VIP experience to being more of a public pools experience. It’s just 200 czk, add it to the price and provide FULL DAY ACCESS! Marketing wise, it’s much better, clients will appreciate it. 😉

We liked the sauna world and outdoor pools. We had the breakfast and it is super. I would suggest to have a soup also for breakfast.
The room is not the same with what I booked 😅 was expecting to have a corner room with the view of the pools.

Location on the river and promenade was excellent. The thermal spa and pool was well laid out. The breakfast had a huge selection and the seating was wonderful.
The antiquated and small Cable car from the hotel to the hillside thermal pools is ridiculous. Dirty, way too slow and extremely crowded for such a large facility. The requirement to pay daily, even if staying at the hotel is cumbersome and a waste of time. Why not just charge to your room and pay at check out?

It was ok location and great pools on the premises
Completely misleading pics for double room. Just totally different from reality. My mattress had springs all over sticking into my body. All around rooms were like back on 1960th
Went to complain, got another (newer) room on the 9th floor, but for extra charge. Good rooms, but very consistent smell of paint. Probably just finished the layout. No lift from parking garage to the lobby or floors. Parking spaces are tiny.
