Very quite spot in the New Forest. Lovely location The food in the restaurant was good, Staff were friendly
We stayed in one of the cabins which was very small. Also had to walk up the other side of the car park to get a phone signal

Absolutely loved our stay here! The location is incredible, right in the middle of the New Forrest. Great to explore and go for walks. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We forgot to bring an adapter for a shaver and a members of staff brought one in for us the next day!
Delicious breakfasts and the restaurant in the evening was amazing. The food was so good we didn’t want to eat out anywhere else during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Nice room with walk in shower
Tiny portion of fish n chips for £16 but staff replaced and we paid bit more for larger pieces of fish
Could do with better signage as no mobile signal so directions difficult

Excellent breakfast especially the smoothie. Service was friendly and very efficient and nice being close enough to other guests to chat to. Being so dog friendly is a real ice breaker as their dog got us chatting.
Room was not really a double. Only 1 chair. We've not slept in a 4ft 6 bed for years and with the very steep sloping roof it was very claustrophobic and difficult to access the left side. I haven't had a bath in 40 years and found the shower difficult. My husband couldn't access it at all. The way the toilet was squashed in at the bottom of the enormous bath was very uncomfortable and had the radiator been switched on you've have got a burned leg! Sadly all things that can't be fixed. Didn't like all the fake potted plants, real dust traps and difficult to access light switch into bathroom in the dark. On the positive side the little extras were wonderful. Home made brownies, coffee pod machine, radio and TV, Netflix, beautiful toiletries and big fluffy towels even ear plugs! The complimentary drink at the bar was a nice touch. Our daughter was staying locally in her camper van with her dog and she had booked and paid for lunch at 3 pm for the three of us which was very good but expensive compared with other pubs in the area. We were all very impressed with all the dog facilities.
