We stayed one night before the great north run. Hotel despite being very busy was really accommodating and well prepared for the runners with early breakfast option, water, maps and directions.
We stayed with our dog and the room was also fully ready with dog bed, bowls, welcome pack and a list of pet friendly restaurants.
We felt very welcomed and well taken care of.
Will definitely be back next year

The breakfast was excellent and the room had a lovely view.
The bed was a little wobbly, but other than that everything else was excellent
