Wow! This property is very impressive!
The little neighborhood this property is located in is quiet, clean, and quite lovely. We walked around this neighborhood and Havana Day Dreamin definitely stood out above all the others. Not only was the main living area comfortable (and nicely decorated- love the Cuban theme), there was plenty of space to spread out, relax, and even play a little shuffleboard.
The outdoor area was just as nice and comfortable. The overall ambiance and layout of the outdoor area was perfect. There was an area for hanging out by the firepit, a separate area for eating, and cozy deck by the pool. The heated pool was the perfect temperature for chilly December days and nights.
We would highly recommend this place.

It was everything that it said it was. We really enjoyed the pool and fire pit and also making meals in the great kitchen! It was off season in the tiny town, which was fine with us. We went on a dolphin cruise and saw a ton of dolphins and saw Christmas lights. Corpus Christi is not that far away and there are museums there for a day excursion. We really loved the whole thing and the owner was very accessible and friendly.

This property was amazing. Working with Laurie was great! She had the pool heated before our arrival and it felt perfect. So many little extras make this home truly feel like home. This was our 13th year to vacation in Port A and this was our favorite place to stay. We will be back!

A group of gals and I came to visit for a weekend away to relax before a busy work and holiday season, the place was absolutely perfect! We were immediately in awe of all the little details that made the place so unique! We paid the little bit extra for the heated pool and it was so absolutely worth it and super cozy at night to chill and relax! Laurie was absolutely amazing as well and kept in touch and was able to adjust the temp of the heater even when we last minute needed it warmed up. I absolutely can’t wait to come down with my family in the future! The location was just down from the beach and they had everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach which was so nice! I do not have enough good things to say about this place or the host!

We love this property! It was our second time staying there, and it’s perfect for our family. Everyone gets their own room and the location is awesome!! The pool area is so great and has such a cool vibe. We will be back for our annual beach trip next year, and can’t wait to stay at Havana Daydreamin’ again! The host is also amazing, she is so communicative and gives recommendations for great spots around town.

It is evident that the owners are proud of their home and have paid attention to detail in all areas of the home. From the decorations, to the appliances, to the spectacular pool area, they have created a true retreat for the visitors who just want to hang out on the property or those that want to venture out to all the recreational areas in Port A. The property is ideally located if you want to be in the hub of Port A, which is what we wanted on this trip. The reservation process was easy and the owner was extremely responsive to questions. We couldn’t have asked for more while staying at Havana Daydreamin’ and look forward to booking again in the future.

This was our second annual trip that we booked and we are already looking into staying there again! There were a total of 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children, there was always something for each of us to do. Our boys absolutely loved the bunk beds and the pool, the adults loved the tiki bar downstairs as well as the one upstairs. The way the house is decorated makes it so easy to feel comfortable, especially with all the kitchen amenities. Lori was absolutely wonderful with communication, she even left a little gift for my son once she knew we were there to celebrate his birthday! We will definitely be back next and many years to follow.

Clean and conveniently located, it was the best property in all of Ocean Village. The amenities were numerous and our family, ages 18-74, thoroughly enjoyed each feature. We will absolutely book again. Just minutes from the beach and stores. Plenty of space for our 2 cars, golf cart and truck. The pool was a huge draw, as were the fire pit, charcoal grill and tiki bar. Comfortable beds and bedding. Too many conveniences to list, especially in the fully stocked kitchen.

We had an incredible stay at Havana Daydreaming, so much so that we're already trying to plan another weekend there! The location is wonderful and is a quick drive to the beach (or a long walk). One of our friends was all about fishing and he said that the walk was short and the pond was full of fish. The house itself is amazing. The pool is a perfect size and having the outdoor shower, bathroom, bar, and icemaker made it so we spent most of our time out there. The kitchen was fully stocked - not just your typical terrible pan, spatula and dull knife. It had plenty of serveware and equipment to comfortably make all of our meals for 7 people. It was a great social space with the open kitchen, huge dining room table, couches, wet bar (with an icemaker!), and shuffleboard table.
It was also great that 3 of the rooms had king beds and the 4th had a queen with twin bunks. With us being all friends, it was a great setup since we could share rooms but not have to cuddle up too close with each other!
Also, Laurie was so communicative and reached out a couple of ties to make sure we were good and remind us of the clean out duties - which were extremely reasonable of turning on the dishwasher, setting the AC, and locking the door!
It was a great stay and we can't wait to go back. They have set the VRBO bar high!

The home is absolutely beautiful and so we’ll decorated. There was plenty of room for three babies and six adults. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The highlight of this property is the pool and patio area! You cannot go wrong with booking this home. Laurie was extremely attentive and welcoming. She was quick to reply with any concerns we had. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a spacious and fun getaway.

Just wrapped up my second time staying at this property. It’s perfect for almost any group. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. The owner provides just about everything you would need for your trip so don’t overpack with extra towels and beach supplies. The pool is just the right size for a break from the beach and even comes equipped with an outdoor bar with fridge and ice maker. This property is close to down and the beach. I need to start planning my next trip! The owner Laurie is very nice and accommodating. She is the perfect host. I just hope I don’t wear out my welcome!

We had a couples weekend and loved everything about this house! Tiki bar outside, bar inside, pool was great & heated!! The ice machines were a big plus! And the kitchen was fully stocked with everything anyone would need for a weekend stay!

House is super cute and fun. Lots of room to play games, watch movies or just hang out. The kitchen is well supplied with gadgets, appliances and cookware that make cooking easy. The private pool was great especially when the beach was cold and windy. Highly recommend heating the pool. Had a great time. Highly recommend.

This was our first time in Port Aransas. Laurie was wonderful to chat with and she had great recommendations for visiting with young children! We rented golf carts and used them multiple times each day. We took them to the beach, out to lunch and took the kids out for ice cream every night. They loved riding around in the golf carts even more than the ice cream! The house was perfect for us! Plenty of room for 4 kids (ages 3-6) and 4 adults. The pool was heated and the kids spent the majority of the day in it. The outdoor space was great for the adults. The tiki bar, fire pit and pool were just what we needed. The house was clean, comfortable and decorated in a very cute beach theme. It came furnished with everything we needed for the trip which made packing so much easier. We will definitely book this same house next time we return to Texas!

The house and heated pool are amazing. The pool is located next to the entrance of the neighborhood and a busy street. I would say golf cart is must for beach access. It's not a terribly long walk to the beach, but might be too far to carry beach supplies and walk with children. We had a good time and there is plenty of space and rooms in the house. The outside bar area, the kitchen, the inside bar area, and all living spaces are perfect!

Wow! I almost hate to leave this fantastic review because it might hinder our chances of booking our exact dates next year, but believe me- you will NOT be disappointed with renting Havana Daydreamin' from Laurie and Paul for any length of stay! My best friend and I have had a tradition for MANY years now of heading down to Port Aransas with our growing families (4 adults and 5 kiddos between us), and this year was definitely our favorite- thanks to the incredible hospitality and thoughtfulness of our excellent hosts! The property literally has everything and more that you could possibly hope for during a beach vacation escape, and we absolutely loved all the little personal touches that we found from the beginning to the end of our stay! The property is extremely well kept, updated, and beautifully decorated in every area! The layout of the rooms could not have been more perfect- comfy king beds in 3 of the rooms, and the most amazing bunk beds in the 4th room! We loved taking advantage of the Tiki Bar and perfect little pool downstairs when we were not playing on the beach or visiting the shops in town. Thank you so much Laurie and Paul for your clear communication and for helping our families create even more special memories in Port Aransas! We hope to visit Havana Daydreamin' again very soon!!

This is truly the perfect vacation rental at Port Aransas, or anywhere. We have stayed in many places in Port, A, other Texas beaches, and around the world. This home is beautifully decorated, super clean, well stocked, and set up for a group to have a grand old time! The keypad entry to the door makes it so easy for a large group. Having a pool right under the condo with such a beautifully landscaped and decorated area added so much fun to our days and nights. I really just can’t say enough good things about this condo. We will be back soon, in fact, we already made a reservation for this summer. Thank you for everything Laurie! We had the best time.
