Lovely views of the golf course. Slept well. Good breakfast.

Food, staff, location and parking all excellent.
Small bedroom and almost £400 for 2 nights B&B a bit steep for the middle of October. However not problomatic.

The restaurant, bar area and outdoor facilities were good.
The food was good apart from our first breakfast when my husband was served cremated, inedible bacon rashers.
Meal in the evening was very good and staff were lovely, apart from one rather unfriendly gentleman who checked us in, zero social skills.
Nice quiet area.
Halloween decorations were brilliant!!!
Very disappointed with our room priced at £200 a night. It was rather dark and the quality of the furnishings was very like a low budget hotel, very overpriced for a November stay.
I was very unhappy on the second day to find my dirty bath towel back in the towel rail after we left our used towels on the floor next to the shower the day before, so I found it unacceptable that a used towel was picked off the floor and put on the towel rail.
Unhygienic doesn’t cover it.
On reading a tiny card on the bathroom shelf that morning it said if you want your towels changed you have to put them on the floor of the shower so I accept I hadn’t done that but surely a bit of common sense would tell you to replace them as they were on the floor next to the shower.
Just a very basic stay which was certainly not what I expected as in that price bracket I have actually paid less for beautiful 4*hotels also including breakfast.
Breakfast offering was not the best, no fresh fruit to add to your cereal on the self service table, a few yogurts and juice but no continental offering as such.
On asking I did manage to get some raspberries and blueberries.
Surprised there was not a porridge option.
Breakfast staff were lovely and very efficient, but breakfast offerings could definitely improve.
