The home is in a great location and parking was pretty convenient. Parking was unsecured, and not locked by a gate as was stated (nor was there evidence or there ever being a locked gate), but we had no issues with parking. Home was spacious, however had several issues. Obviously not maintained recently, there was water leaking from shower into the bathroom, from the bathroom into the kitchen down below, and significant water leaks at the front entry way also. Paint chipping and what looks like water damage in the ceiling and walls throughout is evidence that this has not been renovated anytime recently, as I was led to believe. The back door lock mechanism off of the kitchen jams very easily so we were unable to use the door. The back patio was advertised as a nice space to use, however the grass had not been cut in what looked like a month and the furniture was overturned and thrown around the yard, with cushions wet/dirty. The beds were comfortable and space usable, but due to the above mentioned things and water issues we ended up leaving a day early. Neighborhood was fine, area was a convenient location close to city center and train station.

A cute little house perfectly located for Oxford. Hard to get a more convenient location. We stayed there for our daughter's wedding and truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

We stayed here with our family of 6. The property was clean, cheerfully decorated and offered all we needed for our stay. The host is very responsive to questions. We used the kitchen to cook simple meals only. It has all the basics, but pots were a bit small to cook more than an easy meal for 6.

The house was ok, but it did feel more like student digs than a holiday rental let. The lounge, dining room and one of the bedrooms are quite nice. One bedroom is the size of two single beds with an aisle in the middle, so is probably suitable for small children. The kitchen is functional but only very basic tableware and glassware are provided (only water glasses, no wine glasses for example). The bathroom is big but the shower leaks so there was water across the bathroom floor. There is outdoor seating but the cushions are dirty so the sofas are not really useable. We were charged an extra £50 after our stay, because although we were all packed up and ready to go, one friend waited in the accommodation for her train so the cleaners reported a late checkout. If she had been told that by the cleaners, she would have waited at the train station. It seems quite unreasonable and tainted what otherwise would have been an ok stay.
