We love this hotel. A beautiful building. The suites are beautifully renovated. Mostly we love the location in the old town.
We arrived after 5pm. The navi sent us to the hotel via a route that did not allow access to the old town. The area becomes pedestrian only. We found help eventually with a local guiding us with her own vehicle. I wish the hotel would have reached out to tell us the alternate route. .

Don’t judge too harshly for the lack of air conditioning - in such historic buildings, getting permits is extremely difficult.
Everything is arranged to the highest standard, and breakfast is excellent - served in a restaurant that once held a Michelin star.
+ There are so many lovely little touches, like complimentary drinks in the fridge.
The town itself is charming and full of history. And you’ll be staying just 300 meters from the inner courtyard of Burgdorf Castle, where you can watch the sunset.
Highly recommended!
