La atención del.personal fue genial, siempre pendientes y con mucha disposición. Las opciones de desayuno adecuadas. Y lo mejor es que era super centrico.

A fantastic relaxed, rustic adults only hotel in the center of Playa del Carmen

After a late night check-in we got to our room at around 12.30 am. Our room was very clean, the air conditioner very cold and we had everything that we needed, we slept well. The hotel is very rustic and beautiful and had lots of greenery on the ground floor around the 2 swimming pools and a beautiful thin white at that I liked to feed every day- the cat likes Whiskas food for ref if you want to feed him/her :-) There is another pool on the roof which we used and also a bar which is relatively cheap. I would definitely stay here again as the hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere which I like. Adults only is also a very big bonus. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, limited in options but there is a menu to choose from. I`ve been coming to Playa del Carmen for a few years and know the area very well, It is safe to walk around and is close to the ADO bus station and Walmart is only a couple of streets away. The hotel is located a couple of blocks from 5th Avenue and is also close to Coco Bongo, however, we could not hear any music or noise at all. The nearest beach is a 10 minute walk away and is beautiful with white sand.

Location is really great, although be careful the hotel is with different name. Breakfast is at the cafe next door and it was quite delicious.

Facility is a bit old and it could get noisy as some of the rooms are facing street.

Superb

The hotel is stylish and charming. Rooms are very clean and smells amazing, climate control is super efficient but the main hall is pretty hot. Staff is super helpful and knows English so they will help you with planning your trips :) The localization is perfect, 2 blocks away from main street which is extensively loud, so it's enough to keep it quiet and still be close to the center of the city life. definitely recommended

A friendly, individual hotel, perfectly located but with a few shortcomings

The hotel was friendly. It was very informal and that was ok for us but others might find it too laid back. The pools were clean and uncrowded, as were the sunbeds but see later about these! Staff never bothered us for tips and very often they surprised us with free wine, biscuits and even tequilla. The position overlooking the plaza that housed the town hall was excellent. Very quiet apart from Independence day where we were treated to free bands and fireworks, comfortably viewed from the rooftop bar - where prices were low.

The poolside bed mattresses were thick and comfortable but not waterproof. They were left out at night and during rain so we're often wet. The underside of some were a bit green with algae and this put us off at first. Our allotted room was overlooking a derelict building area and the balcony tiny, but the concierge changed our room to a poolside one at no extra charge. Ask if it happens to you. The address given will take your taxi to the rear of the building where there is no entrance, so be aware of that.

we had a great time at the hotel. the staff were kind but didn’t bother you unless you asked for something.

quiet location away from the busy area, but plenty of options for eating. the 2 swimming pools were great and the breakfast located at the restaurant next door was simple, but enjoyable.

The bed and the pillows were a little old a lumpy.

good but could be better

the hotel is in the center of Playa del Carmen and 5 minutes away of the 5th avenue. there is a pool on the rooftop and 2 pools on the garden !

the ‘included’ breakfast is the choice between an omelette or pancakes with a juice in the nearby restaurant. could have been better or at least more for the price. Not really a good value to money, no room for your luggages after the checkout and the shower available after the checkout is outside next the pool.. once again could be better for the hotel standing.

The staff here are excellent, very friendly and up for a joke. The 3 pools are excellent as are the jacuzzi's. The room was huge as was the bed. The AC is excellent. Great location. A perfect nights sleep. We'd come back.

Amazing place ! Very friendly staff, rooms are big and well equiped, three very cool pools, and in the very center of Playa.

Some work is being done at the moment so it can be a little noisy during the day but it’s OK

Beautiful hotel with 3 great outdoor pools , lovely big and clean rooms. Really friendly staff. Fantastic location close to lots of restaurants, bars in a safe area. Lovely breakfast. Highly recommend this amazing hotel.

Excelent quality price

the quality price relation is amazing. the location is the best one as is in the city center but music does not disturb you. The stuff was the nicest one and the bed is quite big. the bathroom was so modern and clean. we had breakfast included and was too good. They gave you beach towels and the jacuzzi was nice too.

I had a nice stay in this hotel for most of the time however my check out experience was really terrible and even today, 2 months after my stay I still feel annoyed. Prior to booking this hotel I have seen that few guests have complained in hotel reviews about missing some of their money from safe deposit box. I actually did not believe this really happen but it did happen to me. I have checked my money in safe deposit box every day and everything was fine however on the check out date i have noticed one 100 EUR bill missing from the stash and one 100 USD bill missing as well. This was perfectly described in experiences of the travelers that had similar situation in the hotel... If you take a look at your money- it is there but if you don't count it- some could be missing. This amount of the money missing is the perfect way to take away money under the radar-it is not enough to completely freak out for guests but still it is enough to make your experience terrible. When I went to talk to the guy at the reception about it- he told me that most likely i have spent it somewhere but I dont remember. Several times he told me try to remember, I don't even want to comment that. He also told me that it can not happen because when hotel staff opens the safe deposit box with the key that the password resets. When I have kindly asked him to show me that this really happens in my room he started being rude and has just said: I WILL NOT, GO TO THE POLICE. It was very disrespectful and obvious evidence that this happens very often at this place. I did go to the police but paying extra money to fill the report and lose the afternoon was too much because that would not bring any results in the end of the day for me. I have been booking through booking.com around the world numerous times and this is actually first time that I have experienced such a thing. Treat your guests with respect and value their belongings after they book at your hotel.

one-week stay in Playa

very good breakfast w plenty of selection, rooftop pool, shared areas for read/drink/chat arr also ver nice to have, helpful/kind staff, there is a specialty cofee on site which was excellent as we like good quality coffee. room are tidy, a bit smaller than on the pictures. everything was clean.

there could be a bar at the rooftop pool. there was a strange noise from rooftop (probably jacuzzi ventillation) which was annoying for me to sleep after 7 am but could be OK for others if you sleep deeply.
