Clean and comfortable centrally-located apartment - highly recommended!

-amazing location in central Madrid - countless restaurants, shops, and tapas bars within a few minutes walk. There's even a great flamenco place across the street! -super clean, spacious apartment with space for 4-5 people, great shower, fully-equipped kitchen, and washing machine -very welcoming hosts who gave us advice on where to go, always reachable via phone or WhatsApp -great value

Lovely hosts, well located and comfortable.

Our family of 4 stayed over January 2024 and couldn’t be happier. This was easily the best apartment we stayed in thought our 5 week adventure. Juan and Carmen met us at the apartment, arranged for wine, pastries and gifts for our children. Practically the apartment is huge, the beds are very comfortable and the location magic. We will be back.

A Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay here. Carmen made us feel so welcome, and we felt like we were staying in a comfortable home, not just "accomodation." There is plenty of space, all the amenities we could want, and a fantastic location. It was also really clean. Highly recommend.

The apartment was homely and well equipped for our family of 4.

Location was great! Carmen and her partner were very welcoming. They provided a welcome pack of sweets, wine, breads, milk and juice which was greatly appreciated. Air con worked well when it was 38 degrees during our stay. Apartment is well equipped with everything you need.

This was our favorite place to stay out of three locations, and we hope to come back!

The location could not have been better. Great restaurants are in the area, and there is easy access to the metro. This is a walkable location that felt safe and clean. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and well stocked with everything we needed including blankets and extra towels. the beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally stocked compared to 3 other apartments we rented on our tour, and our hosts even provided milk, juice and bread for our first breakfast. What a thoughtful surprise! The photos in the listing are accurate.

FANTASTIC 3 bdr 2 bathroom Madrid apartment that is hosted with care and a personal touch.

Check in was smooth and Carmen is so nice! The room itself was beautiful and fully furnished. It felt like home.

very spacious and clean. Host met us and showed us round. lots of extra touches - wine, milk,juice,tea,coffee, toothbrushes etc. perfect location. Quiet at night for sleeping. clean and comfortable. would return.

Excellent position in the center of Madrid, very close to Sol metro station, but very quiet. The apartment is very well equipped and confortable.

Superb

Carmen and her husband are very sweet people. They came to the apt to greet us and make sure the place is clean and ready before we move in. The communication was smooth, and they were very accommodating in the check-out time so that we could have a couple of extra hours to stay. The location is great, a short walking distance to Puerta de Sol, yet the apt is very quite.

The heating system is centrally controlled and runs from noon to 10pm only. So the rooms are cold at night and in the morning.

Excellent apartment for exploring Madrid

Carmen the host was fantastic. Super easy check in with transport arranged by the host from the airport on arrival. Excellent location for sightseeing, everything walkable from the apartment. Numerous good places to eat close by, supermarket 3 min walk if cooking at home. Very quiet and peaceful in the apartment. Good power shower.

The Apartmento Las Letra was perfect for our traveling group.

I loved the Apartment. There were 7 of us in the Apartment. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was very very clean and had everything that we needed. The shower was great and we were supplied with large towels. The decor was happy and bright. The location was also amazing very close to the center of the city, shopping and food.

We were supplied with two sets of keys. We would have liked to have one more set of keys. We felt secure in the location and our only regret is that we would have liked to stay for several more days.

Where to begin - Carmen and her husband were the most wonderful and hospitable hosts! Our train and, therefore, check-in was delayed, and yet they greeted us full of positivity and understanding. They showed us around the property, which was exactly as described, and also very kindly provided breakfast and a bottle of wine for us! The apartment is spacious and comfortable, very well maintained, and feels like home. There is also plenty of storage and kitchen equipment. :) We had great communication with Carmen and couldn't have asked for a better experience! In terms of location, it is just perfectly situated - just 5-10 minute walk to Puerta del Sol and bustling with local restaurants.

Everything was great; there was nothing not to like! Thanks again, Carmen!!

Our family visit to Spain

Great apartment in the city centre, practically walking distance from most places in the city. Most importantly, very helpful and gracious and helpful host who is willing to help with all requests and issues, including early checkin, late checkouts as much as possible. Very responsive to any issues that we had and making sure that its addressed promptly. Will be happy to be back again.

Exceeded expectations for a first Madrid visit. I would gladly stay here if and when I return.

We arrived a little early but Carmen rushed to meet us at the apartment and get us settled. She had coffee, tea, juice, pastries and wine waiting upstairs. Very welcoming. She then proceeded to give me a tour of the apartment so I knew where everything was. She communicated with me promptly thru What's App throughout my stay.

I didn't love the bed pillows and the house TV was out of date. Otherwise this was a great place to stay. Perfect location.

This apartment was WONDERFUL!! The host (Carmen) was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful (got my friend a taxi to the airport and me one to the train station) - she went above and beyond. There were many amenities available (i.e., snacks, a bottle of wine, maps etc.). The apartment itself was cleaned immaculately, it is also very spacious and bright. And then, the location is close to everything!! Just walk out the door and your in the middle of Madrid - yet it is quiet and peaceful when you go to sleep. There was noting not to like about this apartment - I would highly recommend booking it if it happens to be available - you won't be disappointed!!!

Carmen was the best host i could probably ask! Very welcoming, apartment was in central location very clean and equipped. We forget my father's coat on the apartment and Carmen ship it to us via air mail. I couldn't recommend more! We will back again to this amazing hospitality and experience. Super host A++++

Perfect central location with great restaurants etc in walking distance. Carmen was very helpful and the apartment was lovely and spotlessly clean. Everything you could need was available in the apartment including spare toothbrushes, toiletries, hairdryer and coffee, wine and snacks.
