We enjoyed ourselves from the beginning to the end. The owners, the food, the location. So peaceful! We needed that.

I will definitely book this place again when we are in the area. Keith and Gretchen were amazing.

Everything was amazing the hosts went above and beyond. Breakfast was fantastic - something different every morning. The rooms were huge and the beds very very comfortable. The whole house was spotless clean with plenty of towels and linens for our stay.

I didn't mind the shared bathroom but it is always nice to have a bathroom to yourself. BUT - this was not a drawback to our stay.

Splendid!

Gretchen and Keith are wonderful and welcoming hosts! They make you feel at home instantly. You´ll get a great Breakfast during the week, amazing breakfast on the weekend. Every room is nicely decorated and there´s a lot of space to hang out.

Didn´t know there´s gonna be a dog. I´m fine with it, but if you´re afraid of dogs ... Though with me Doulce (the dog) was very friendly and playfull.

MUST SEE! Wonderful Historic Airbnb. Great touches & value.

Beautiful restored historic home with an intense attention to detail. We had the "America" room, which was lovely. Keith and Gretchen were amazing hosts with great suggestions for hiking trails and local "tressures" to visit. "Dolce" the resident Pomeranian..adorable. This place is a must see!

Not the most warm or welcoming environment; reserved most expensive suite with private bathroom but turns out you have to leave your suite walk through part of the kitchen to access your "private bathroom" that has a sign "TOILET" on the door; inappropriate signage in bathroom "wash your hands ya dirty animal" which we found offensive; breakfast hour modified 3 times from 8-9:30 to 8 to 8:30AM and then asked to have our breakfast on the porch or in our room as they didn't have room in the dining room (maybe because they only allowed 30 minutes for breakfast and had a full house--clearly this is not typical B&B behavior); Numerous terse text messages warning not to come early or charges would apply, checkout 11AM firm or charges apply (sign in room said $100/hour after 11AM!); no closet to hang clothes and armoire locked.. and I could go on. Not what we have come to expect from usually warm welcoming environments in B&Bs that we have frequented.

Beautiful BnB in the Western Maine woods

I had reserved a room as a gift for someone. The hosts were amazing at understanding, being accommodating, and everything was lovely. Clean. Spacious. Comfortable. Highly recommend.

Only "complaint" was the bed was a little high, so my mother in law needed a boost to the bed. So maybe a little step stool for those who are under 5'6' or older in years.

Very good

pleasant hosts, very helpful. Breakfast varied each day. Comfortable Bed. Good water pressure and hot water for shower.

Room is cluttered with knic-knacs. No space left to place personal effects on table tops. No desk in room to work at. Room got chilly through the night and not able to adjust room heat, though space heater helped once I figured out how to use it. You have to open the door so electronic controls are in line of sight of remote.
