Location was excellent and the hotel building was very nice.

Für einen Städtetrip optimal gelegen, Metrocard empfehlenswert, super nettes Personal.

Zimmer waren optimal gelegen, sehr ruhig und gut ausgestattet. Frühstück war super, lies keine Wünsche offen. Lage vom Hotel perfekt, in Fußnähe Metro, Altstadt mit der Metro sehr gut erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr nett und konnte uns jeden Wunsch erfüllen. Abends in der Lounge zu sitzen war sehr entspannend.

Die Betten waren ohne Matratzenschoner ausgestattet und haben gequiescht.

Location and personnel… particularly Carolina and Jose who were super attentive to us

The complimentary coffee machine is only available starting as of 11:00. However, Carolina kindly offered me a coffee as I wasn’t having breakfast that day.

Two nights stop over in Madrid

Excellent hotel, you feel at home!

The staff was friendly and helpful. They had an amazing breakfast buffet. The location was in the best part of Madrid near museums and Retiro park. The wifi speed was the best we’ve had in our trip.

Jose, the young man who checked me in, went above and beyond to help me with a room that would satisfy my needs. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The website states that the hotel has a shuttle to and from the airport. That is NOT correct. The hotel does not provide shuttle service.

Museum Central

Excellent location within walking distance to most of the best museums. The front desk was very helpful and arranged a 4 am cab to the airport for me. The room was comfortable with soft pillows, a hot clean shower, and cold A/C.

The refrigerator could be turned to a colder temperature.

The location was great, close to El Prado Museum, 5 minutes walking. The staff was super nice and the room was comfortable and clean.

Great location and stay if you’re willing to sacrifice superb comfort.

Great location, very good breakfast and the staff is kind and very helpful. We made two stops at this hotel and they were kind enough to keep some of our luggage.

The rooms are underwhelming. We stayed at the family rooms. The mattresses were dated, not very comfy and the shower in the first room leaked everywhere. We asked for housekeeping and nobody came to clean-up.

This is a nice, reasonably priced place to stay if planning to visit the Prado Museum in Madrid.

The hotel is in a stunning building very close to the Prado. Ni.ce, easy walk to the museum. We arrived fairly late in the evening, about 8:30 pm, but were able to find a nice cafe close by for a light dinner. The hotel was reasonably priced and just right for our brief overnight stay.

The impression that came from the pictures when booking the room was much better than in reality.

Didn't like the rooms that have been renovated in a modern style. It's sad.

really not worth that very high price, additionally we were downgraded to lower standard, meanwhile the price kept for a standard double room, not the "budget" one.

the personnel was nice

I ended up sleeping super bad all nights, every time someone up went to the bathroom ended up waking me up, it was quite noisy. also people speaking on the aisle wakes you up. beds weren’t the best either

We will return our next trip to Madrid!

Fabulous breakfast, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous staff, INCREDIBLE location, two different sitting rooms, afternoon coffee/tea option. Our room had excellent lighting, bedding, and bathroom.

I would have liked 2 chairs in the room since there are 2 of us who use a chair.

Luxury hospitality in beautiful central location

This was an excellent, beautiful property. The location is so central, just beside Retiro Park. absolutely beautiful. The room and facilities so clean and well presented. 2 standouts - the wonderful hospitable staff and the gorgeous breakfast. Ray welcomed us with "this is your home from home" and from that moment it really was. Nothing too much trouble. always created with warmth, style and kindness. He is magnificent. the breakfast tasty and fresh. a little pricey but so worth it. we will definitely be back.

Great location, staff and value for money. Would stay again but would love to see it redecorated!

The service and friendliness of this hotel were exceptional, particularly from Ray, who more than once went out of his way to assist me, and was very charming and professional.

The photos of the hotel shown on Booking.com - showing beautifully decorated interiors, were NOT representative of the room and lobby areas, which were disappointingly decorated and looked 'tired'.
